VARIANT AIM
The present invention relates to the provision of a recombinant AIM that maintains functions, does not multimerize, and is not inactivated by IgM (e.g., a protein containing an amino acid sequence wherein cysteine at amino acid number 168 of the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 1 is substituted with another amino acid, and the like).
Expression of Ovalbumin and its Natural Variants
The present invention relates to the animal-free production of animal-derived proteins for human consumption by expression of such proteins, e.g. ovalbumin, in fungal cells. The invention relates to fungal cells modified for the production of animal-derived proteins, such as ovalbumin and to methods wherein these cells are used for the production of animal-derived proteins.
T CELL RECEPTORS WITH VGLL1 SPECIFICITY AND USES THEREOF
Provided herein are tumor-antigen VGLL 1 specific T cell receptors. The TCR may be utilized in various therapies, such as autologous cell transplantation, to treat a cancer. Methods for expanding a population of T cells that target VGLL 1 are also provided.
PASylated VEGFR/PDGFR fusion proteins and their use in therapy
A protein comprising (i) a domain of the Platelet-Derived Growth Factor receptor (PDGFR) and (ii) a domain of the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor receptor (VEGFR) is provided. In a preferred embodiment, said domain of PDGFR and said domain of VEGFR are attached by a linker consisting of proline, alanine and serine. The domain of PDGFR and said domain of VEGFR can also be attached by a linker consisting of proline and alanine. Compositions comprising the proteins, as well as therapeutic uses thereof are also provided.
TISSUE-HOMING PEPTIDE CONJUGATES AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Peptides that home, target, migrate to, are directed to, are retained by, or accumulate in and/or bind to the cartilage or kidney of a subject are disclosed. Pharmaceutical compositions and uses for peptides or peptide-active agent complexes comprising such peptides are also disclosed. Such compositions can be formulated for targeted delivery of an active agent to a target region, tissue, structure or cell in the cartilage. Targeted compositions of the disclosure can deliver peptide or peptide-active agent complexes to target regions, tissues, structures, or cells targeted by the peptide.
Anti-CTLA4 antibodies and methods of making and using the same
Provided herein are cross-reactive antibodies (or antigen binding fragments thereof) that bind to human CTLA4, activatable antibodies that bind to human CTLA4, nucleic acid molecules encoding the same, pharmaceutical compositions thereof, and methods of their therapeutic use (e.g., for treatment of cancer).
Synthetic protein circuits detecting signal transducer activity
Disclosed herein include methods, compositions, and kits suitable for use in detecting the activation level of a signal transducer. In some embodiments, there are provided synthetic protein circuits wherein recruitment of synthetic protein circuit components to an association location upon activation of a signal transducer generates an active effector protein. The effector protein can be configured to carry out a variety of functions when in an active state, such as, for example, inducing cell death. Methods of treating a disease or disorder characterized by aberrant signaling are provided in some embodiments.
MATRIPTASE AND U-PLASMINOGEN ACTIVATOR SUBSTRATES AND OTHER CLEAVABLE MOIETIES AND METHOS OF USE THEREOF
The invention relates generally to polypeptides that include a cleavable moiety that is a substrate for at least one protease selected from matriptase and u-plasminogen activator (uPA), to activatable antibodies and other larger molecules that include the cleavable moiety that is a substrate for at least one protease selected from matriptase and u-plasminogen activator, and to methods of making and using these polypeptides that include a cleavable moiety that is a substrate for at least one protease selected from matriptase and u-plasminogen activator in a variety of therapeutic, diagnostic and prophylactic indications.
SELF-ASSEMBLING CIRCULAR TANDEM REPEAT PROTEINS WITH INCREASED STABILITY
Circular handed alpha-helical repeat proteins are described. The repeat proteins have a number of uses as scaffolds for geometrically precise, arrayed presentation of cell-signaling or immune-related protein and peptide epitopes, as well as numerous other therapeutic, diagnostic, and nanotechnological uses.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING MULTISPECIFIC ANTIBODIES
The present disclosure relates generally to compositions and methods useful for the production of engineered antibodies having (i) multiple antigen-binding specificities and (ii) Fc regions that have been modified to promote heterodimer formation between heavy chains from antibodies with different specificities. Also provided are recombinant cells, recombinant nucleic acids encoding such engineered antibodies, as well as pharmaceutical compositions containing same.
