Sole arrangement with ground-engaging member support features
The present disclosure is directed to an article of footwear including an upper configured to receive a foot and a sole component fixedly attached to a bottom portion of the upper. The sole component may include a baseplate having a bottom surface and at least a first ground engaging member extending substantially downward from the bottom surface of the baseplate and a first elongate support member extending substantially downward from the bottom surface of the baseplate, abutting the first ground engaging member at a side portion, and extending horizontally from the side portion of the first ground engaging member. The first support member may extend horizontally away from the first ground engaging member in a direction toward a region of the sole component adjacent to a gap in the sole component.
Footwear cleat particularly for soccer
An innovated design for athletic footwear also known as a cleat is herein disclosed with soccer as the playing sport in mind. Primarily, it is the geometry and configuration of the individual cleats provided, as well as number of total cleat structures that engage a playing field, that are optimally designed to contact and transverse the field. In a preferred design, individual cleats are six-sided and therefore maximize a lateral surface area. An additional improved upper is also configured to the athletic footwear to provide increased power transfer to a ball in a kicking motion.
Footwear with aligned tensile restraints
A shoe may include an upper and a sole structure. The upper may include a shell and first, second, third, and fourth sets of tensile restraints. Each of the sets may have one or more tensile restraints extending over and/or through a corresponding portion of the shell. The shell may be engaged with the sole structure and define an interior void configured to receive insertion of a user's foot. The first, second, third, and fourth sets of tensile restraints may be configured so that, upon securing of one or more structures to tighten the upper and connect the sets of tensile restraints, two linear axes of tension with anchors located in the forefoot and heel region extend diagonally across the article from one side to the other.
Golf shoe having midsole and outsole for providing flex and stability
Golf shoes having improved constructions are provided. The golf shoes include upper, midsole, and outsole sections. The upper may be made of a soft, breathable leather material. The midsole includes an upper region formed from a first material such as a foamed ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA); and a lower region formed from a second material such as a foamed ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), wherein the materials have different hardness levels. A fiber-reinforced composite plate may be disposed in the midsole. The outsole contains different traction members arranged in a precise geometric structure that helps provide improved stability and traction.

SOLE AND BASEBALL SPIKE SHOE WITH THE SOLE
An object of the present invention is to provide a sole of a baseball spike shoe that improves a ball speed in a pitching motion. A sole includes a plurality of first protrusions arranged in a forefoot region of a sole body. Each of the first protrusions is formed such that its longitudinal direction extends along a foot width direction in a bottom view. When the plurality of first protrusions are projected on a virtual projection plane as viewed from a front side of the sole body, the sum of projection lengths of the plurality of first protrusions in the foot width direction is 85% or more and 100% or less of a distance of a straight line connecting in the foot width direction a side of the most medial first protrusion to a side of the most lateral first protrusion.
Cleats, Cleated Sole Structures, Molds and Molding Methods for In-Molding Articles
Cleat structures, e.g., for golf shoes, may include a flat and flexible interior surface and/or a generally disk-shaped perimeter area that includes features to promote in-molding of the cleat to a footwear sole component (e.g., to permanently engage the cleat with an outsole member). Such cleats may provide a flexible and comfortable base, including a low profile, e.g., to enable formation relatively thin and/or flexible footwear sole components. Footwear sole components and articles of footwear that include one or more in-molded cleat structures of this type also are described. Molds used for in-molding procedures and methods of using the molds to make articles with in-molded components (e.g., for making footwear sole structures including one or more in-molded cleats) also are described.
Footwear with slip resistant sole
The present invention involves footwear that utilizes tread members having generally rectangular arrays of lugs and protuberances on the lugs. Grooves separate the lugs and provide flow paths from the interior area of a tread member to the exterior. Sipes are positioned between the protuberances and form flow paths from the interior area of the lugs to the grooves. The tread members are positioned at least at the forefoot portion and heel portion of the outsole.

The disclosure relates to articles and components thereof, including outsoles, which can be used in conditions normally conducive to the accumulation of soil. In particular, the articles has a substrate body, a material including a hydrogel secured to the substrate body, and a mesh component present on and/or adjacent to a second side of the hydrogel-containing material opposing the first side. The article can prevent or reduce the accumulation of soil during use.

The disclosure relates to articles and components thereof, including outsoles, which can be used in conditions normally conducive to the accumulation of soil. In particular, the articles have substrate body, a tie layer secured to the substrate body, and a material including a hydrogel secured to the tie layer. The material can prevent or reduce the accumulation of soil during use. The presence of the tie layer can minimize or prevent delamination of the hydrogel containing material during normal use.
