OUTSOLE FOR A SHOE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A SOCCER SHOE, SHOE WITH SUCH AN OUTSOLE, AND METHOD FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF SUCH ITEMS
The present invention relates to an outsole for a shoe, in particular for a soccer shoe, and it further relates to a shoe with such an outsole, and to a method for the manufacture of such items.
Provided is an outsole for a shoe, in particular for a soccer shoe, which comprises: a first main stud disposed on a bottom surface of the outsole, and a first peripheral stud disposed on a peripheral surface of the outsole, wherein a tip of the first main stud and a tip of the first peripheral stud are linked by a first bridge portion.
Also provided is an outsole for a shoe, in particular for a soccer shoe, comprising: a first main stud disposed on a bottom surface of the outsole, and a first peripheral stud disposed on a peripheral surface of the outsole, wherein the first peripheral stud has a generally triangular shape, preferably wherein two corners are pointing outwards and one corner is pointing inwards.
Additionally provided is an outsole for a shoe, in particular for a soccer shoe, comprising: at least one peripheral lateral stud disposed on a lateral peripheral surface of the outsole, wherein the at least one peripheral lateral stud is disposed in a region of the lateral peripheral surface that lies in a forefoot part of the outsole, and wherein the region of the lateral peripheral surface in which the at least one peripheral lateral stud is disposed is spaced apart from a front tip of the outsole such that the region of the lateral peripheral surface in which the at least one peripheral lateral stud is disposed is arranged further rearwards than a first row of studs of the outsole, counted from the front tip of the outsole.
STUD FOR OUTSOLE, OUTSOLE FOR CLEATED SHOE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING OUTSOLE, AND CLEATED SHOE
A stud for an outsole includes: an outer tubular portion located on an outsole body and having a tubular shape; and a core portion located inside the outer tubular portion. The outer tubular portion is integral with the outsole body with no seam between the outer tubular portion and the outsole body. An inner wall surface of the outer tubular portion surrounds, and is in contact with, a side surface of the core portion. This configuration reduces separation of the stud from the outsole and firmly holds the stud on the outsole.
CLEATED FOOTWEAR
A cleat plate for cleated footwear comprising a rigid forefoot plate, a rigid heel plate, and a flexible bridge element connecting the rigid forefoot plate and the rigid heel plate. The rigid forefoot plate includes a concave depression extending downward from the top of the rigid forefoot plate and configured to lie directly under the first metatarsal head of the wearer, wherein the depression extends as a convex surface below the bottom of the rigid forefoot plate and has plurality of cleats extending therefrom.
Article of footwear with multiple durometer outsole
The present invention is directed toward an article of footwear having a sole structure effective to increase traction on a support surface. The article of footwear includes a sole structure comprising a first sole structure and a second sole structure. The article of footwear includes a forefoot region, midfoot region, and hindfoot region. The first sole structure is disposed in the forefoot and hindfoot regions. The second sole structure is disposed in the midfoot region. An extension of the second sole structure that extends through the forefoot region is substantially covered by the first sole structure. A plurality of lugs extend downwardly from the bottom surface of the first sole structure. At least one lug extends downwardly from the extension of the second sole structure through the first sole structure. The first sole structure and the second sole structure have different durometers.
Article of footwear with multiple durometer outsole and directional cleat pattern
The present invention is directed toward an article of footwear that effectively reduces rotation the article of footwear during a golf swing. The article of footwear includes an upper and a sole structure, where the sole structure is comprised of a midsole, a first outsole, and a second outsole. The article of footwear includes a forefoot region, a midfoot region, and a hindfoot region. The first outsole is coupled to both the midsole and the second outsole, while the second outsole is disposed between the midsole and the first outsole. The second outsole includes a first series of lugs disposed along a lateral edge of the second outsole and extending through the first outsole in the forefoot region, and a second series of lugs disposed along a medial edge of the second outsole and extending through the first outsole in the hindfoot region.
Sole structure for article of footwear
An outsole for an article of footwear includes a plantar surface and a peripheral surface surrounding the plantar surface. The outsole for an article of footwear also includes an annular cleat set including a first plurality of traction elements arranged in series about a central axis on the plantar surface. The outsole for an article of footwear further includes one or more radial cleat sets each including a second plurality of the traction elements aligned along a respective radial axis intersecting the central axis. At least one of the second plurality of the traction elements includes a peripheral cleat formed on the peripheral surface.
CUT STEP TRACTION ELEMENT ARRANGEMENT FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A traction element arrangement for a sole structure of an article of footwear is described. Traction elements include cut step features. Cut step features provide a traction element with a stepped height. Cut step features on medial rotational traction elements that have a plurality of stud elements arranged in a circular grouping include arc-shaped or straight cuts. Cut step features on traction elements disposed in a heel region are aligned laterally across the sole structure. Traction elements also include raised platform members. Cut step features can be combined with raised platform members.
ATHLETIC SHOE OUTSOLE WITH GRIP AND GLIDE TREAD PATTERN
An outsole for an athletic shoe that includes a heel section and a forefoot section. The heel and forefoot sections are on the outer surface of the outsole. The forefoot section includes a tread pattern that provides first and second ground friction forces. The first ground friction force promotes rotation in a first rotational direction about a rotation point of the forefoot section. The second ground friction force restricts rotation in a second rotational direction about the rotation point. The second rotational direction is opposite of the first rotational direction and the second ground friction force is greater than the first ground friction force.
Cleat structure for article of footwear
A sole structure for an article of footwear includes a midsole having an upper surface and a ground-facing surface and a ground engaging sole component affixed to the ground-facing surface of the midsole. The ground engaging sole component includes a substrate layer, a support layer, and a plurality of cleats, each cleat coupled to the support layer and held apart from the midsole by a distance that is greater than 0.0 mm.
TRACTION LUG FOR FOOTWEAR
A lug for a sole or outsole of a footwear, i.e. a shoe or a boot, which is able to improve the traction or grip features of the sole itself; sole or outsole equipped with a plurality of lugs and a method for obtaining a mold cast printed with a 3D printing machine to obtain the sole and/or the lugs.
