TIRE WITH TREAD
This invention relates to a tire with a tread of a rubber composition containing a combination of high and low glass transition temperature (Tg) synthetic elastomers. The high Tg elastomer is comprised of a high Tg, high vinyl content, functionalized polybutadiene rubber and the low Tg elastomer is comprised of a low Tg, low vinyl content, functionalized polybutadiene rubber. The tread rubber may contain traction resins, may contain rosin acid and may contain triglyceride vegetable rubber processing oil.
SILICA REINFORCED RUBBER COMPOSITION CONTANING A MULTI-FUNCTIONAL GROUP FUNCTIONALIZED ELASTOMER AND TIRE WITH TREAD
This invention relates to a rubber composition containing filler reinforcement comprised of precipitated silica with silica coupling agent therefore and conjugated diene-based elastomer which contains end-chain functionalization with multi-functional groups. The groups functionalizing the elastomer are multi-functional in the sense of containing one group reactive with at least one of said precipitated silica and silica coupling agent and another different group reactive with diene-based elastomers through sulfur cure of the rubber composition. A sulfur cured rubber composition containing said end-chain functionalization is provided. A tire is provided having a component comprised of said rubber composition. Representative of said tire component is a tire tread.
Articles comprising crosslinked polymer network comprising thioether crosslinks and process of making and using same
The present invention relates to articles comprising crosslinked polymer network comprising thioether crosslinks and process of making and using same. Such thiol-ene crosslinking reactions not only make the isocyanate crosslinking reaction unnecessary, but they also improve the article's strength due to chemical crosslinking between the article's resin layers, and reduce or eliminate post curing. Thus resulting in a sufficiently cured article in a much shorter time.

SUSTAINABLE POWDER COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a detoxified powder composition comprising a zinc-bearing compound selected from the group consisting of zinc carbonate, zinc hydroxide, zinc oxide, zinc sulphate and mixtures thereof, and at least one detoxification agent containing at least one oxide based on a cation, selected from the group consisting of calcium, barium, magnesium, strontium and beryllium.
