Foot feature measurement and simulation
A method comprises arranging a measurement paper. The measurement paper may include a plurality of lines to aid in centering a foot. The method may further include tracing a foot onto the measurement paper and making a plurality of measurements on the traced foot. Based on the plurality of measurements, shoe fit evaluator may be constructed.
Gait Analysis Through Computerized Sole Inspection
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for analyzing a person's gait through image analysis of the person's footwear. An embodiment operates by receiving an image associated with a shoe sole, the image displaying one or more cells forming part of a tread pattern of the shoe sole. The system then determining, based on the image, the wear levels of the cells and analyzes the wear levels to determine a wear pattern of the shoe sole. The system transmits information associated with the wear pattern for display in an interface of a computing device.
Ankle Foot Orthosis
The ankle foot orthosis solves a problem of a poor adaptation to a user's foot (3) and the related discomfort. It provides for simultaneous correction of several symptoms in the foot and ankle areas. It is completely produced from a uniform material, the thickness and shape of which change depending on user's specific needs. It is designed in such a way that it does not intervene with other functions of a user's foot. It is manufactured by preparing a 3D model of a user's foot when placed in a physiologically correct static position, by modelling the ankle foot orthosis directly to a 3D model of the foot (3), by 3D printing from preferably a photopolymer, and by adequate post-processing. Due to its minimalistic design, the user can wear the orthosis in a shoe of his appropriate foot size.
FOOT IMPRESSION DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND RELATED METHODS
An impression device and related methods are disclosed. The device has a base having a recess and a conduit for fluidly coupling the recess to a vacuum source, and a first plurality of particles positioned in the recess. The first plurality of particles sealed from an external environment. The first plurality of particles has a first coefficient of friction between each other, the first coefficient of friction selected to allow the particles to move relative to each other in the absence of a vacuum and to prevent the particles from moving relative to each other in the presence of a vacuum.
A FEET POSITION GUIDANCE AID
A feet position guidance aid for formulating individually formed thermoplastic insoles, shoes or shoe sole structures. The feet position guidance aid is made of flexible material and its upper surface includes guiding places for feet for guiding the position of the feet. The feet position guidance aid includes a lifter, wherein the lifter is a rising structure arranged to lift up and support the toes of the feet so that feet are guided to a position suitable for formulating the individually formed thermoplastic insole. An insole customizing arrangement for formulating individually formed thermoplastic insoles is also described.
ORTHOPEDIC INSOLE
An orthopedic insole may include at least one strength layer and at least one shock absorbing layer. In one embodiment, the strength layer may be relatively rigid and includes a heel portion and an arch portion, contoured to fit the plantar or bottom surface of the foot to provide arch support. The shock absorbing layer may include a plurality of shock absorbing cells such as recoverable honeycombs or any other negative stiffness structure with the capability to recover. A gait analysis that may include an individual's weight transfer trajectory may have to be conducted to determine the structure of the shock absorbing layer. The orthopedic insole may further include an adjusting layer to supplement the strength layer and the shock absorbing layer to make adjustment to the orthopedic insole if needed.
Insole and a method and a system for insole manufacture
A method, apparatuses and a system for manufacturing an insole, a shoe or a sole for a shoe. Foot information is determined on the shape and dimensions of a foot, and a pin matrix is formed at least partially based on the foot information. An insole or sole preform is placed on the pin matrix for shaping the insole preform, and an insole or sole is formed from the preform based on the foot information using the pin matrix. A positive and a negative pin matrix at least partially based on the foot information can be formed wherein the negative pin matrix essentially corresponds to the positive pin matrix.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR DESIGNING FOOTWEAR
Methods and apparatuses for designing custom footwear are disclosed. An apparatus for designing custom footwear may include a data collection system, a data processing system, and a manufacturing system, where the manufacturing system includes an additive manufacturing device. A method for designing custom footwear may comprise receiving user-specific data, generating a user model, identifying issues in the user model, determining corrective features, generating a custom footwear model, and manufacturing the custom footwear.
Footcare product dispensing kiosk
A kiosk apparatus that may select for a person a recommended footcare product based on pressure measurements collected from pressures sensors or calculated biomechanical data estimates. Pressure measurements and calculated biomechanical data estimates may be used to determine if a foot is unshod on the pressure sensor and also group a person into a classified subgroup. The pressure measurement and calculated biomechanical data estimates may also be used to select a recommended footcare product.
MOLD AND METHOD FOR GETTING FOOT MODEL THEREOF
A mold includes a seat, a plurality of guiding tracks, a plurality of positioning grooves, a plurality of telescopic rods, a plurality of elastic members, at least one sliding device and an insole material. The guiding tracks are disposed on the seat. The positioning grooves are disposed on the seat and are corresponding to the guiding tracks, respectively. The telescopic rods include a plurality of abutting portions, respectively. The elastic members are disposed in the seat for applying a plurality of restoring forces to the telescopic rods, respectively. The sliding member is movable along the track to press the abutting portions, and the abutting portions are connected tightly to each other so as to position the telescopic rods. The insole material is disposed below the telescopic rods for molding an insole.
