SCAFFOLDING MATERIAL FOR STEM CELL CULTURES AND STEM CELL CULTURE METHOD USING SAME

A scaffolding material for culturing a stem cell, which contains a synthetic resin, and has a nitrogen content of the synthetic resin of 0.1% by mass or more and 10% by mass or less. According to the scaffolding material for stem cell culture, the scaffolding material can have suitable hydrophilicity and strength, high fixation of stem cells after seeding, and highly efficient cell proliferation.

SCAFFOLDING MATERIAL FOR STEM CELL CULTURES AND STEM CELL CULTURE METHOD USING SAME

A scaffolding material for stem cell culture, which has a dispersion component .sup.d of the surface free energy of 24.5 or more and less than 45.0, and a dipole component .sup.p of the surface free energy of 1 or more and less than 20.0. According to the scaffolding material for stem cell culture, the scaffolding material can have suitable hydrophilicity and strength, high fixation of stem cells after seeding, and highly efficient cell proliferation.

INTERLAYER FILM AND LAMINATED GLASS COMPRISING THE SAME
20200354534 · 2020-11-12 ·

The present disclosure relates to an interlayer film for laminated glass comprising: (a) polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin having an average molecular weight (Mw) as measured by Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) from about 175,000 to about 210,000 Dalton; and (b) about 30 to about 50 parts per hundred (pph) of a plasticizer. The interlayer film interposed between two glass sheets forms laminated glass having a pummel adhesion value that is greater in an outer area of the laminated glass than in a middle area of the laminated glass after the laminated glass has been maintained at 50 C. and 95% relative humidity (RH) for 28 days. The laminated glass exhibits improved durability and does not delaminate over time, even in the presence of high temperature and humidity conditions.

Viscosity modified formaldehyde-free binder compositions

Viscosity-modified carbohydrate binder compositions are described. The binder compositions may include a carbohydrate, a nitrogen-containing compound, and a thickening agent. The binder compositions may have a Brookfield viscosity of 7 to 50 centipoise at 20 C. The thickening agents may include modified celluloses such as hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), and polysaccharides such as xanthan gum, guar gum, and starches.
