Ethylene Copolymer Blends for Cross-Linking Applications
Compositions are provided which include blends of (A) branched and/or bimodal ethylene copolymers and (B) linear ethylene copolymers. The branched and/or bimodal ethylene copolymers may be produced using a dual metallocene catalyst system comprising two different metallocene catalysts: one capable of producing high Mooney-viscosity polymers and one suitable for producing polymers having at least a portion of vinyl terminations. The linear ethylene copolymers may be produced using a metallocene catalyst capable of producing high Mooney-viscosity polymers, which may be the same as such catalyst of the dual metallocene catalyst system. Processes for making such blends, including parallel and/or series polymerization processes, are also provided. The blends may have excellent cure properties suitable in curable rubber compound applications.

MACROCYCLIC POLY(AKANE)S AND POLY(ALKANE-CO-ALKENE)S
Macrocyclic polyalkene homopolymers and copolymers can be formed and converted to macrocyclic polyalkanes or macrocyclic poly(alkane-co-alkene) upon hydrogenation or, when the macrocyclic polyalkene is reacted with an alkene in the presence of an olefin metathesis catalyst, to a macrocyclic poly(alkane-co-alkene) comprising vicinal C(CR2)'s. Upon hydrogenation of a macrocyclic poly(alkane-co-alkene) comprising vicinal C(CR2)-'s, macrocyclic poly(alkane)s or poly(alkane-co-alkene)s with isolated C(CR2)- groups can be provided, depending on the degree of hydrogenation. The poly(alkane-co-alkene)s with isolated C(CR2)- units can be used to form poly(macrocyclic poly(alkane-co-alkene))s, poly(macrocyclic poly(alkane))s, and/or bi-, tri-, and/or multi-macrocyclic poly(alkane-co-alkene)s or bi-, tri-, and/or multi-macrocyclic poly(alkane)s.

Cyclic-diene additives in polyethylene films and enhanced film orientation balance in production thereof
A method of forming a blown film comprising extruding a molten composition through a die opening to form a film; wherein the molten composition comprises at least one polyethylene and within the range from 0.10 wt % to 10 wt % of a cyclic-diene terpolymer by weight of the composition; causing the film to progress in a direction away from the die opening; cooling the film at a distance from the die opening, the distance adjusted to effect the properties of the film; and isolating a blown film therefrom.

ETHYLENE-CYCLIC MONO OLEFIN COPOLYMERIZATIONS
The copolymerization of ethylene with a cyclic mono olefin (such as norbornene) is conducted in the presence of a catalyst system comprising a bridged hafnocene catalyst and a three part activator. The catalyst system provides excellent activity at high polymerization temperatures. Copolymers produced according to this invention have unique microstructure (with methyl branching being observed) and unique rheology.
