A heterophasic propylene polymerization material, including a propylene polymer component (I) and an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer component (II), the heterophasic propylene polymerization material satisfying features (i) to (v): (i) the heterophasic propylene polymerization material contains a xylene-soluble content by 20 wt % or more; (ii) xylene-soluble content in the heterophasic propylene polymerization material has a limiting viscosity [η].sub.CXS not less than 5 dL/g; (iii) a melt flow rate of the propylene polymer component (I) is 70 g/10 min or more; (iv) MFR of the heterophasic propylene polymerization material is not less than 5 g/10 min; and (v) the number of gels of 100 μm or more in diameter on a sheet for counting gels, including the heterophasic propylene polymerization material, is 1000 or less per 100 cm.sup.2 of the sheet.

The present disclosure relates to a Ziegler-Natta catalyst system with self-extinguishing properties suitable for olefin polymerization. The catalyst system of the present disclosure comprises a pro-catalyst, a co-catalyst, and an external donor having a mixture of a selectivity control agent and an activity control agent. The catalyst system of the present disclosure is adapted to prevent the temperature of the polymerization reaction to go beyond the softening temperature of the polymer, thereby exhibiting the self-extinguishing properties.

The present disclosure relates to a Ziegler-Natta catalyst system with self-extinguishing properties suitable for olefin polymerization. The catalyst system of the present disclosure comprises a pro-catalyst, a co-catalyst, and an external donor having a mixture of a selectivity control agent and an activity control agent. The catalyst system of the present disclosure is adapted to prevent the temperature of the polymerization reaction to go beyond the softening temperature of the polymer, thereby exhibiting the self-extinguishing properties.

4-methyl-1-pentene polymer particle and method for producing 4-methyl-1-pentene resin

A 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer particle (X) which satisfies the following requirements (X-a), (X-b) and (X-c): (X-a) being composed of a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer which has a content of a constitutional unit derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene being 30.0 to 99.7% by mol, and a content of a constitutional unit derived from at least one olefin selected from ethylene and an α-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms (except for 4-methyl-1-pentene) being 0.3 to 70.0% by mol; (X-b) having, when measured in a cross fractionation chromatograph apparatus (CFC) using an infrared spectrophotometer as a detector part, at least one peak A of an amount of a component eluted present in the range of 100 to 140° C., and at least one peak B of an amount of a component eluted present at lower than 100° C.; and (X-c) having a meso diad fraction (m) measured by .sup.13C-NMR falling within the range of 95.0 to 100%.

4-methyl-1-pentene polymer particle and method for producing 4-methyl-1-pentene resin

A 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer particle (X) which satisfies the following requirements (X-a), (X-b) and (X-c): (X-a) being composed of a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer which has a content of a constitutional unit derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene being 30.0 to 99.7% by mol, and a content of a constitutional unit derived from at least one olefin selected from ethylene and an α-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms (except for 4-methyl-1-pentene) being 0.3 to 70.0% by mol; (X-b) having, when measured in a cross fractionation chromatograph apparatus (CFC) using an infrared spectrophotometer as a detector part, at least one peak A of an amount of a component eluted present in the range of 100 to 140° C., and at least one peak B of an amount of a component eluted present at lower than 100° C.; and (X-c) having a meso diad fraction (m) measured by .sup.13C-NMR falling within the range of 95.0 to 100%.

PROPYLENE-BASED TERPOLYMER COMPOSITION FOR PIPES

The invention relates to a pipe comprising a polypropylene composition (P) comprising a terpolymer composition (A), a nucleating agent (B) and optionally a composition comprising pigment (C), wherein the terpolymer composition (A) comprises at least one terpolymer prepared from propylene, ethylene and 1-hexene, wherein the nucleating agent (B) is a nucleating agent comprising a metal salt of hexahydrophthalic acid represented by formula (I) (I) wherein M1 and M2 are the same or different, and may be combined into one cation, and are selected from at least one metal cation of calcium, strontium, lithium, and monobasic aluminum; and wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, and R.sub.10 are either the same or different and are individually selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C.sub.1-C.sub.9 alkyl, hydroxy, C1-C9alkoxy, C.sub.1-C.sub.9 alkyleneoxy, amine, and C.sub.1-C.sub.9 alkylamine, halogens, and phenyl wherein the polypropylene composition (P) has a melt flow rate in the range from 0.10 to 0.70 dg/min as determined by ISO1133-1:2011 at 230° C. and 2.16 kg.

The invention relates to a pipe comprising a polypropylene composition (P) comprising a terpolymer composition (A), a nucleating agent (B) and optionally a composition comprising pigment (C), wherein the terpolymer composition (A) comprises at least one terpolymer prepared from propylene, ethylene and 1-hexene, wherein the nucleating agent (B) is a nucleating agent comprising a metal salt of hexahydrophthalic acid represented by formula (I) (I) wherein M1 and M2 are the same or different, and may be combined into one cation, and are selected from at least one metal cation of calcium, strontium, lithium, and monobasic aluminum; and wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8, R.sub.9, and R.sub.10 are either the same or different and are individually selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C.sub.1-C.sub.9 alkyl, hydroxy, C1-C9alkoxy, C.sub.1-C.sub.9 alkyleneoxy, amine, and C.sub.1-C.sub.9 alkylamine, halogens, and phenyl wherein the polypropylene composition (P) has a melt flow rate in the range from 0.10 to 0.70 dg/min as determined by ISO1133-1:2011 at 230° C. and 2.16 kg.
