APPARATUS AND METHODS USING COATINGS FOR METAL APPLICATIONS
An apparatus and methods for using coatings for metal applications are disclosed. According to one embodiment, an article comprises a cured polymeric film having a first reaction product of a cationic photoinitiator and a compound suitable for cationic polymerization. The article has a second reaction product of a free-radical photoinitiator and a compound suitable for free-radical polymerization; The article has a metal substrate, wherein the cured polymeric film coats the metal substrate.
3D PRINTING OF METAL CONTAINING STRUCTURES
In an aspect, a method for making a metal-containing material comprises steps of: forming a metal-containing hydrogel from an aqueous precursor mixture using a photopolymerization; wherein the aqueous precursor mixture comprises water, one or more aqueous photosensitive binders, and one or more aqueous metal salts; and thermally treating the metal-containing hydrogel to form the metal-containing material; wherein the metal-containing hydrogel is exposed to a thermal-treatment atmosphere during the step of thermally treating; wherein a composition of the metal-containing material is at least partially determined by a composition of the thermal-treatment atmosphere during the thermally treating step.
Method of manufacturing an anti-glare cover
This invention is related to a method of manufacturing an anti-glare cover. The method includes preparing a crosslinking precursor solution, wherein the precursor solution is an organic solution with crosslinkable polymer monomer and crosslinking initiator; applying the crosslinking precursor solution on a cover to form a crosslinking precursor layer; pre-crosslinking and crosslinking the crosslinking precursor layer to form a mesh crosslinked layer; etching the cover with acid solution and the mesh crosslinked layer acting as a hard mask to form an anti-glare microstructure on the cover; and removing the mesh crosslinked layer.

POLYMER COMPOSITIONS BASED ON PXE
New polymer compositions based on poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) and other high-softening-temperature polymers are disclosed. These materials have a microphase domain structure that has an ionically-conductive phase and a phase with good mechanical strength and a high softening temperature. In some arrangements, the structural block has a softening temperature of about 210 C. These materials can be made with either homopolymers or with block copolymers. When these polymers are combined with electrolyte salts, they can be used as electrolytes that have both high ionic conductivity and good mechanical properties.
METHOD OF POLYMERIZING AN IONIC CROSSLINKER
The present disclosure provides a polymerizing method where (i) an ionic crosslinker that includes a quaternary ammonium group and (ii) a non-ionic crosslinker, is polymerized in a reaction solution whose solvent is substantially a mixture of propylene glyocol (PG) and an aprotic amide-based solvent. The polymerization makes an anion-exchange polymer composition. The PG and the aprotic amide-based solvent are present in a weight ratio of from about 25:75 to about 70:30, and the reactants and solvents are present in amounts to generate the anion-exchange polymer composition with a theoretical water content from about 35% to about 60% (wt/wt).
