CURABLE SILICONE COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT THEREOF, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Provided herein is a curable granular silicone composition which has hot-melt properties, is particularly superior in flexibility and toughness at high temperatures from room temperature to about 150° C. in cured products such as overmolding, and provides a cured product that does not easily warp or become damaged even when integrally molded with an aluminum lead frame or the like. A curable granular silicone composition comprising: (A) organopolysiloxane resin microparticles having a curing reactive functional group; (B) a functional inorganic filler; and (C) a curing agent. The composition provides, upon curing, a cured material having a storage modulus at 25° C. and 150° C. of less than 2,000 MPa and less than 100 MPa, respectively, and a peak value of tan δ represented by the storage modulus/loss modulus (G′/G″), is 0.40 or more.

The present technology provides a curable silicone composition comprising a polymer A comprising an organic molecule or a siloxane molecule comprising an alkoxy radical, a hydroxyl radical, an isocyanate radical, a primary amine, or a carboxylic radical; optionally a polymer B comprising an organic molecule, a siloxane molecule, or a hybrid-siloxane molecule; a catalyst; and a filler.
LIQUID SILICONE RESINS
A liquid silicone resin composition is provided. The liquid silicone resin composition comprises (A) a polysiloxane, (B) a polyether alcohol compound, and optionally (C) an aminosilicon compound. The polysiloxane (A) comprises an MQ resin, which is dispersed in and optionally functionalized with the polyether alcohol compound (B), and which may also optionally have amino functionality. The liquid silicone resin composition comprises a tunable viscosity, which may range at 25° C. from 100 to 800,000 cps. A method of preparing the liquid silicone resin is also provided. The method comprises combining together a solid silicone resin and the polyether alcohol compound (B) to give a mixture comprising the polysiloxane (A) and the polyether alcohol compound (B), and liquefying the mixture, thereby preparing the liquid silicone resin composition. The method may optionally include the aminosilicon compound (C).
Composition, light diffuser and device formed thereby, and related methods
A composition is disclosed, which comprises (I) an aryl component; (II) a methyl component; and (III) a hydrosilylation catalyst. The (I) aryl component comprises (A) an organopolysiloxane and (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane. Similarly, the (II) methyl component comprises (A) an organopolysiloxane and (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane. A method of preparing the composition is also disclosed. Further, a method of preparing an article, e.g. a light diffuser, and a lighting device comprising the light diffuser are disclosed. Finally, a method of diffusely transmitting light with the light diffuser is disclosed.
SILICONE GEL COMPOSITION AND CURED PRODUCT THEREOF, AND POWER MODULE
This silicone gel composition contains (A) an organopolysiloxane having one or more silicon atom-bonded alkenyl groups per molecule, (B) an organohydrogen polysiloxane having two or more silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule, (C) a platinum group metal-based curing catalyst, (D) an isocyanuric acid derivative having two trialkoxysilyl groups and one crosslinkable vinyl group and/or an isocyanuric acid derivative having three trialkoxysilyl groups, and (E) a ketenesilylacetal-type compound, and provides a cured product having a specific penetration.
The silicone gel composition can provide a silicone gel cured product that is a silicone gel having excellent heat resistance and adhesiveness to metals at high temperature and having a high penetration, that is capable of maintaining a low elastic modulus and a low stress even in use at high temperature for long periods of time, and that enables reduction of the occurrence of bubbles and reduction of deterioration in releasability from a substrate and in electrical insulating properties.
Thermally conductive polyorganosiloxane composition
The present invention relates to a thermally conductive polysiloxane composition that provides a cured product having excellent tackiness and flexibility in which the composition contains (A) a thermally conductive filler, (B) a siloxane compound having an alkoxysilyl group and a linear siloxane structure, (C) a polyorganosiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups bonded to silicon atoms per molecule, (D1) a linear polyorganohydrogensiloxane represented by the general formula (4), (D2) a polyorganohydrogensiloxane having per molecule at least three units represented by the general formula (5), and (E) a platinum catalyst.
ADDITION REACTION-CURABLE SILICONE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR SKIN APPLICATION AND ADHESIVE TAPE FOR SKIN APPLICATION
An addition-curable silicone adhesive composition for skin application, containing: (X) a mixture or condensation reaction product of a component (A) and a component (B); (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing three or more SiH groups per molecule; and (D) a platinum group metal-based catalyst. (A) is a diorganopolysiloxane with a mass ratio of (A1)/(A2) being 90/10 to 15/85. (A1) is a diorganopolysiloxane which has two or more alkenyl groups per molecule, and the alkenyl group-content is at least 0.0005 mol/100 g and less than 0.15 mol/100 g. (A2) is a diorganopolysiloxane having a SiOH group at a terminal and no alkenyl group. (B) is an organopolysiloxane with a molar ratio of R.sup.1.sub.3SiO.sub.0.5 unit/SiO.sub.2 unit being 0.5 to 1.5. This addition reaction-curable silicone adhesive composition for skin application results in an adhesive layer which has suitable adhesive strength and excellent re-attachability, reworkability, and durability.
Fluorine-containing coating film and water- and oil-repellent coating composition
It is an object of the present invention to provide a coating film capable of realizing satisfactory sliding properties in addition to water- and oil-repellent properties and wear resistance evaluated by a static contact angle, and a coating composition for obtaining the coating film. The present invention is directed to a fluorine-containing coating film which has a root mean square roughness of less than 3.5 nm and has a perfluoropolyether structure. It is preferred that the coating film has a polysiloxane backbone and further has a structure in which a fluoroalkyl group is directly bonded to a silicon atom of the polysiloxane backbone, and that a sliding angle of 6 μL of a water droplet is 24.3° or less, or a speed of 20 μL of a water droplet sliding on a coating film inclined at 32° is 0.1 cm/second or more.

The present invention relates to a low friction polymerizable composition, a prepolymer thereof, and a friction component material prepared using the same, and the low friction polymerizable composition according to the present invention includes a curing agent and a filler together with a phthalonitrile compound, and thus has an excellent low friction property as well as high heat resistance and excellent processability.
