Organic-inorganic polymeric compositions, related articles, and related methods
The disclosure relates to an organic-inorganic hybrid (OIH) polymeric composition and related methods for forming the same. The disclosure also relates to a polymeric composition as disclosed herein and related methods for forming the same. The OIH polymeric composition and the polymeric composition can be formed by UV-irradiating a corresponding composition including a Michael-addition (MA) acceptor compound, a Michael-addition (MA) donor compound, a silane compound, when present, and a photo-latent base initiator to form a corresponding base catalyst and catalyze the reactions forming the networked polymer. The OIH polymeric composition and the polymeric composition can be used as a coating on any of a variety of substrates or as an interlayer in an additive manufacturing process.
Control of illumination spectra for LCD displays
Color conversion films for a LCD (liquid crystal display) having RGB (red, green, blue) color filters, as well as such displays, formulations, precursors and methods are provided, which improve display performances with respect to color gamut, energy efficiency, materials and costs. The color conversion films absorb backlight illumination and convert the energy to green and/or red emission at high efficiency, specified wavelength ranges and narrow emission peaks. Film integration and display configurations further enhance the display performance with color conversion films utilizing various color conversion elements and possibly patterned and/or integrated with a crosstalk blocking matrix. For example, color conversion and/or assistant dyes may be used to enhance spectral regions transmitted through the color filters and shape the illumination spectrum, to improve efficiency and performance.

The present technology provides a nanoparticle comprising: the polysiloxanes comprise silyloxy subunits having the structure (I) as shown herein, wherein R.sup.a at each occurrence is independently selected from a bond to a Si of another polysiloxane chain or a C.sub.1-12 alkyl group; R.sup.i at each occurrence is independently selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1-12 alkyl and C.sub.2-12 alkenyl groups, optionally substituted with a substituent selected from the group consisting of halogen and NR.sup.1.sub.2, wherein each occurrence of R.sup.1 is independently selected from H or a C.sub.1-12 alkyl group, or two R.sup.1 groups, together with the N atom to which they are attached, form a pyrrolidine or piperidine ring; the crosslinks between polysiloxanes comprise disulfide linkages, the nanoparticle comprises an exterior surface comprising surface-modifying groups attached to and surrounding the silica network, wherein the surface-modifying groups comprise polyethylene glycol (PEG), polysarcosine, polyzwitterion, polycation, polyanion, or combinations of two or more thereof; and the nanoparticle has an average diameter of 15 nm to 200 nm. The nanoparticles herein may include biomolecules such as polynucleic acids, proteins, and complexes thereof, e.g., Cas9 RNP.
CUBIC CYCLODEXTRIN FRAMEWORK-RGD COMPOSITION AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
A cubic cyclodextrin framework-RGD composition (RGD-COF) and a preparation method therefor. Specifically, the cyclodextrin framework-RGD composition contains a cyclodextrin framework (COF) having a cubic structure and RGD, and can escape from phagocytosis and clearance of macrophages, enhance migration and adhesiveness to damaged blood vessels, and efficiently target and aggregate activated platelets at damaged blood vessel sites, having application prospects on targeted diagnosis and treatment of diseases associated with uncontrolled hemorrhage, atherosclerosis and cerebral apoplexy. By utilizing the advantage that a cyclodextrin-metal organic framework (CD-MOF) has controllable dimensions, a cubic cyclodextrin framework-RGD composition for nanoscale intravenous injection or microscale topically external use is provided.
