Protective glove
The present disclosure relates to a protective glove, which has different polymer layers arranged in a multi-layered polymer composite material. According to the present disclosure, the protective glove contains polyvinyl alcohol and a protective layer on top of this containing a fluorinated elastomer. The present disclosure also relates to a method for manufacturing a protective glove of this kind. The combination of various polymers and their arrangement in the polymer composite material achieve a powerful protective action against a multitude of chemical compound classes while simultaneously producing advantageous mechanical properties.

A chloroprene copolymer latex containing a chloroprene copolymer having a structural unit derived from chloroprene and a structural unit derived from 2,3-dichloro-1,3-butadiene, in which a toluene insoluble content in the chloroprene copolymer is 50 to 95% by mass, and a modulus at 500% elongation of a film, which is obtained on a base material by dipping the base material in the chloroprene copolymer latex and then performing vulcanization at 100° C. for 30 minutes, according to JIS K 6251 is 4.0 MPa or less.

This application relates to synthetic elastomeric articles, and gloves in particular, comprising the cured product of a synthetic latex composition, the synthetic latex composition comprising a synthetic carboxylated polymer and a cross-linking composition, the cross-linking composition comprising an aqueous solution of a negatively charged multivalent metal complex ion having a pH of at least 9.0. Also described are compositions for forming the articles, and methods for making the articles, based on the use of the described cross-linking composition. The articles so produced have an average thickness of 0.2 mm or less and a modulus at 500% of less than 6.5 MPa.

This application relates to synthetic elastomeric articles, such as gloves, comprising the cured product of a synthetic latex composition, the synthetic latex composition comprising a synthetic carboxylated polymer and a cross-linking composition, the cross-linking composition comprising an aqueous solution of a negatively charged multivalent metal complex ion having a pH of at least 9.0. Also described are compositions for forming the articles, and methods for making the articles, based on the use of the described cross-linking composition. The articles, compositions and methods contain an aqueous solution of a multimetal oxide of the multivalent metal, a hydroxide of the multivalent metal, or a salt of the multivalent metal, such as sodium aluminate, in an amount of less than 0.3 phr. The articles produced have a thickness of between 0.01-3 mm and an unaged tensile strength of at least 15 MPa.

CHLOROPRENE COPOLYMER LATEX AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a chloroprene copolymer latex, a method for producing a chloroprene copolymer latex, a chloroprene copolymer latex composition, and a molded article or dipped product of a chloroprene copolymer rubber. The chloroprene copolymer latex is a latex of a chloroprene copolymer including monomer units derived from 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene (chloroprene) and monomer units derived from 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene, wherein the tetrahydrofuran insoluble content in the chloroprene copolymer is 20% by mass or less, and the proportion of the monomer units derived from 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene is 10 to 27 mol % in the chloroprene copolymer.
CHLOROPRENE COPOLYMER LATEX AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a chloroprene copolymer latex, a method for producing a chloroprene copolymer latex, a chloroprene copolymer latex composition, and a molded article or dipped product of a chloroprene copolymer rubber. The chloroprene copolymer latex is a latex of a chloroprene copolymer including monomer units derived from 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene (chloroprene) and monomer units derived from 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene, wherein the tetrahydrofuran insoluble content in the chloroprene copolymer is 20% by mass or less, and the proportion of the monomer units derived from 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene is 10 to 27 mol % in the chloroprene copolymer.
