POLYLACTIC ACID-BASED CUSTOM PRODUCT PACKAGING AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Molded foam articles are provided. The molded foam articles are formed from polylactic acid and are capable of a number of post-processing or secondary uses. Forming the molded foam articles from polylactic acid advantageously extend the life of the molded bead foam article by permitting users to cut, heat, adhere, modify, and repurpose the molded foam articles.
Method for protecting Low-E glass plate, method for producing glass unit, laminate and protective sheet for Low-E glass plate
Provided is a Low-E glass plate protection method capable of preventing or inhibiting Low-E layer alteration. The protection method includes a step of applying a protective sheet to a surface of a Low-E glass plate having a Low-E layer comprising a zinc component. Here, the protective sheet has a PSA layer. The Low-E layer comprises a zinc component. The PSA layer includes ammonia and an acid or acid salt capable of forming a counterion to an ammonium ion.
Crystal device and method for manufacturing crystal device
A crystal device includes a bearing base, an integrated chip and a conductive adhesive unit. The bearing base includes a conductive seat. The integrated chip includes a principal reference plane facing the conductive seat, and having a first major axis. The conductive adhesive unit has a second major axis and an aspect ratio, and is at least partly disposed between the conductive seat and the integrated chip. The aspect ratio ranges from 1.1 to 1.9. The principal reference plane further has a perpendicular projection straight line defined according to the second major axis. A practical angle is included by the first perpendicular projection straight line and the first major axis, and ranges from 0 degree to 90 degrees.
ADHESIVE FOR CASTABLE URETHANES
Provided are adhesives containing a phenoxy resin grafted with methyl methacrylate (MMA) and/or methacrylic acid (MAA), and including a uretdione or a silane. The adhesive compositions are completely or substantially absent free isocyanate. The grafted phenoxy resin forms crosslinking which allows the adhesive to chemisorb to a metal surface, diffuse and entangle in a urethane elastomer and/or provide crossbridging and/or crosslinking across an interface of the adhesive and a cast urethane. Methods of adhering a castable urethane to a substrate, using the provided adhesives, are also provided.
Reactive hot-melt adhesive
The present technology provides a reactive hot-melt adhesive including a urethane prepolymer formed from a polyol and a polyisocyanate; and a thermoplastic poly (meth)acrylic resin; the polyol including a bifunctional polyol including polypropylene glycol and polyethylene glycol, a trifunctional polyol, and a polyester polyol having a glass transition temperature of from 20 to 60° C.
Polymer blends for use in multilayer structure and multilayer structures comprising the same
The present invention provides polymer blends that can be used in a multilayer structure and to multilayer structures comprising one or more layers formed from such blends. In one aspect, a polymer blend comprises an ionomer of a copolymer comprising ethylene and at least one of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid having a melt index (I.sub.2) of 1 to 60 g/10 minutes, wherein the total amount of ionomer comprises 50 to 99 weight percent of the blend based on the total weight of the blend, and a polyolefin having a density of 0.870 g/cm.sup.3 or more and having a melt index (I.sub.2) of 20 g/10 minutes or less, wherein the polyolefin comprises 1 to 50 weight percent of the blend based on the total weight of the blend, wherein the polymer blend meets the following equation: 3.5<2.76−60*I.sub.2(PO)+308*RVR+0.023*A<4.5 wherein I.sub.2(PO) is the melt index (I.sub.2) of the polyolefin, RVR is the relative viscosity ratio of the polyolefin to the ionomer (I.sub.2(PO)/I.sub.2(ionomer)), and A is the weight percent of ionomer in the polymer blend based on the total weight of the blend.
PRODUCTION METHOD OF OPTICAL FILM
The present application relates to an optical film and a method for producing a polarizing plate. The present application can provide an optical film satisfying optical and mechanical durability required in a polarizing plate effectively and capable of forming a polarizing plate without causing bending when applied to a display device, and a method for producing a polarizing plate to which the optical film is applied. The present application can provide an optical film capable of realizing the required optical and mechanical durability without causing bending even in a polarizing plate applied to a thin display device and/or a thin polarizing plate, and a method for producing a polarizing plate to which the optical film is applied.
ENDOSCOPE, AND INSERTION PORTION OF ENDOSCOPE
An endoscope includes: an image pickup unit having an incidence face; a distal end body including a front face in which an insertion hole is formed, the incidence face of the image pickup unit inserted into the insertion hole protruding from the front face; a distal end cover that covers a periphery of the insertion hole of the distal end body and has a distal end face including an opening from which the incidence face is protruded; a first adhesive that bonds the distal end cover to the image pickup unit and contains first calcium carbonate particles; and a second adhesive that covers a step at a boundary between the distal end face of the distal end cover and the incidence face of the image pickup unit and contains first silicon oxide particles.
