METHOD FOR PRODUCING POROUS CELLULOSE MEDIUM
The present invention provides a technique for preparing a porous cellulose medium, through the gelation of a solution in which cellulose acetate as a raw material is dissolved, which does not cause a reaction involving the migration of substances. Specifically, a method for producing a porous cellulose medium is provided which includes the steps of gelling a flowable homogeneous composition containing cellulose acetate, an organic solvent, and water through a decrease in temperature; and hydrolyzing the cellulose acetate contained in the resulting gel.
POROUS LUMBAR AND CERVICAL MEDICAL DEVICES AND PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING SAME
A method for making a polymer with a porous layer from a solid piece of polymer is disclosed. In various embodiments, the method includes heating a surface of a solid piece of polymer to a processing temperature and holding the processing temperature while displacing a porogen layer through the surface of the polymer to create a matrix layer of the solid polymer body comprising the polymer and the porogen layer. In at least one embodiment, the method also includes removing at least a portion of the layer of porogen from the matrix layer to create a porous layer of the solid piece of polymer.
CONTACT SENSITIVE DEVICE, DISPLAY APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Provided are a contact sensitive device, a display apparatus including the same, and a method of manufacturing the same. The contact sensitive device includes an electroactive layer formed of an electroactive polymer having a plurality of nano pores and an electrode disposed on at least one surface of the electroactive layer. The electroactive layer has a -phase structure and improved piezoelectricity without performing a stretching process or a polling process.
POLYMER FOR TISSUE ENGINEERING
The invention relates to a polymer for tissue engineering from biodegradable polyphosphazenes, having photopolymerizable side groups, wherein the side groups of the polyphosphazenes are formed exclusively from amino acids and/or amino acid derivatives, which are bonded to the backbone of the polyphosphazene via the amino group of the amino acid and to a spacer attached to the acid group with a carbon chain of length m, which has a vinyl group at the free end, wherein m=0 to m=10.

POROGEN COMPOSITIONS, METHODS OF MAKING AND USES
Provided are porogen compositions and methods of using such porogen compositions in the manufacture of porous materials, for example, porous silicone elastomers. The porogens generally include comprising a core material and shell material different from the core material. The porogens can be used to form a scaffold for making a resulting porous elastomer when the scaffold is removed.
