Foam composition and foam produced therefrom
A foam composition comprises a recycled polyvinyl butyral in an amount from 5 wt % to 70 wt %; an ethylene-ester copolymer in an amount from 10 wt % to 70 wt %; a foaming agent in an amount from 0.5 wt % to 3.5 wt %; a peroxide crosslinking agent in an amount from 0.5 wt % to 3.0 wt %; and a hydrazide crosslinking agent in an amount from 0.1 wt % to 2.5 wt %, based on a total weight of the foam composition. A foam produced from the foam composition can avoid emitting an unpleasant odor of aldehydes, and the foam also has good mechanical properties and good resilience.

In one example, a multi-fluid kit for three-dimensional printing comprises: a fusing agent comprising water and a radiation absorber, wherein the radiation absorber absorbs radiation energy and converts the radiation energy to heat; and a pore-promoting agent comprising water and a water-soluble pore-promoting compound, wherein the pore promoting compound chemically reacts at an elevated temperature to generate a gas, and wherein the water-soluble pore-promoting compound is selected from the group consisting of sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and combinations thereof.
Non-crosslinked copolymer foam composition with polyamide blocks and polyether blocks
The present invention relates to a non-crosslinked block copolymer foam composition, characterised in that it is in the form of a polymer matrix comprising closed cells containing gas, said matrix comprising: from 90 to 99.9% by weight of said block copolymer; and from 0.01 to 10% by weight of metal carbonate, for the total weight of the foam composition. The present invention also relates to a foamable composition and a method for manufacturing said foam, as well as the use of the foam in sports shoe soles, balloons or balls, gloves, personal protection equipment, rail soles, automobile parts, construction parts, electrical and electronic equipment parts, audio equipment, sound- and/or heat-proofing, and parts used to damp vibrations.

The present teachings provide for a two-part system and a method of using the two-part system, the two-part system comprising: a first component including one or more epoxy resins; a second component including one or more phosphate esters; and wherein, upon mixing the first component and second component a cured elastomeric composition is formed in a temperature of about 0° C. to about 50° C.

[Solution] A foam includes a modified cellulose fiber (A) covalently bonded with a diene-based polymer, a thermoplastic resin and/or rubber (B), and a diene-based polymer (C) having a functional group capable of covalently bonding with a cellulose fiber, in which the fiber (A) is micronized, the fiber (A) has a content of 0.05 to 20% by mass, and the thermoplastic resin and/or rubber (B) has a glass transition point of −130° C. to 120° C.

The method comprises supplying a polymer resin containing a chemical foaming agent and including metal particles capable of inductive heating, that is positioned between a polymeric skin and substrate, followed by inductive heating to cause foaming of the polymeric resin.
