Compositions comprising a fluoroolefin
The present invention relates to compositions for use in refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heat pump systems wherein the composition comprises a fluoroolefin and at least one other component. The compositions of the present invention are useful in processes for producing cooling or heat, as heat transfer fluids, foam blowing agents, aerosol propellants, and fire suppression and fire extinguishing agents.
Process for forming a foam product integral with surface cover element
A process is provided for forming a foam product integral with a cover surface, which restricts emission of the carbon oxide during the step of preparing a carbon-oxide-mixed liquid by mixing carbon oxide into a first material containing polyol as a primary ingredient; under a pressure applied thereto. The process includes a first step wherein a carbon-oxide-mixed liquid material is prepared by mixing carbon oxide C into a first material containing polyol as a primary ingredient, under a pressure applied thereto, without effecting a forced stirring during said first step; a second step wherein said carbon-oxide-mixed liquid material and a second material containing isocyanate as a primary ingredient are impinged on and mixed with each other in a high-pressure foaming agent preparation device, thereby providing a resultant urethane material as a liquid urethane foaming agent; and a third step wherein said liquid urethane foaming agent produced at said second step is introduced toward an inside of a surface cover element under a pressure applied thereto.
COMPOSITIONS FOR POLYOLEFIN FOAMS
A foamable composition including a polypropylene-based copolymer and a polyolefin is disclosed. The composition can be used to make a stiff foam with a high closed-cell content. Methods for producing the composition and the foam are provided.
Reversibly cross-linkable resin
Reversibly cross-linkable foam is provided. The reversibly cross-linked foam includes a first polymeric material, at least one reversibly cross-linkable monomer polymerized with the first polymeric material, and at least one blowing agent. The reversibly cross-linkable co-polymeric foam is thermally stable at temperatures of at least 10 degrees higher than otherwise identical polymeric foam that does not include the reversibly cross-linkable agent polymerized with the first polymeric material.
Environmentally degradable foamed master batch composition and using thereof
The present invention provides a master batch composition for environmentally degrading conventional plastics including a carrier resin, at least one oxidative degradant, at least one nature biodegradable degradant and at least one foaming agent. The present invention also provides a plastic product which is environmentally degradable at a very low cost versus conventional bio-sourced plastics, and has broad applications for single-use disposable applications or for short-lived products that are discarded within two years of manufacture.
Foam compositions and uses thereof
A variety of forms and form components are provided, including form components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment. The articles include a composition having a form structure, wherein the composition includes a thermoplastic copolyester elastomer comprising: (a) a plurality of first segments, each first segment derived from a dihydroxy-terminated polydiol; (b) a plurality of second segments, each second segment derived from a diol; and (c) a plurality of third segments, each third segment derived from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid. Methods of making the compositions and forms are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including at least one of the form components. In some aspects, the forms and form components can be made by extrusion or injection molding to form the polymeric composition, or extrusion or injection molding to form the polymeric composition followed by compression molding of the form.
Process for Foaming Polyolefin Compositions Using a Fluororesin as a Nucleating Agent
A polyolefin composition is foamed by a process in which a nucleator is used, and the nucleator comprises 80% or more of unagglomerated fluororesin particles and/or agglomerates of fluororesin particles in which both the unagglomerated particles and the agglomerates are less than 1 μm in size.
POLYCARBONATE COMPOSITE ARTICLE
The present application relates to a polycarbonate composite article, a preparation method therefor, and use thereof. The polycarbonate composite article includes a foamed polycabonate layer and a non-foamed polycarbonate film layer on the foamed polycarbonate layer. The polycarbonate composite article according to the present invention has a reduced weight and improved signal penetration performance, and can be used as an antenna housing.
