The present invention aims to provide a flexible resin foam having excellent shapeability and a resin foam sheet, an adhesive tape, a member for a vehicle, and a member for a building each including the resin foam. Provided is a resin foam having a multitude of cells, the resin foam including: a polyvinyl acetal; and a plasticizer, the resin foam having an elongation strain of 300% or more and a 50% compression stress of 70 kPa or less.
POLYURETHANE FOAM AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME
A polyurethane foam may include an isocyanate polymer component and a polyol component. The polyol component may include a polyol having a molecular weight of at least about 500 kg/mol and not greater than about 6000 kg/mol. The polyurethane foam may have an elongation of at least about 500%. The polyurethane foam may further have a density of at least about 250 g/L and a tensile strength of not greater than about 1000 kPa.
PROCESS FOR PREPARING FOAMED ARTICLES MADE FROM ETHYLENE/ALPHA-OLEFIN INTERPOLYMERS
The present disclosure is directed to a process for preparing foamed articles comprising at least one ethylene/-olefin interpolymer and use of the foamed articles in various applications, such as footwear applications. The ethylene/-olefin interpolymers of the present disclosure are multi-block copolymers comprising at least one soft block and at least one hard block.
RESIN FOAM, RESIN FOAM SHEET, ADHESIVE TAPE, VEHICLE MEMBER, AND BUILDING MEMBER
The present invention aims to provide a resin foam, a resin foam sheet, an adhesive tape, a member for a vehicle, and a member for a building that are capable of exhibiting very high sound insulation properties. Provided is a resin foam having a multitude of cells, the resin foam containing: a thermoplastic resin; and a plasticizer, the resin foam having a minimum loss factor of a primary anti-resonance frequency in the range of 20 C. to 60 C. of 0.05 or higher and a secondary anti-resonance frequency in the range of 20 C. to 60 C. of 300 to 800 Hz as measured by mechanical impedance measurement (MIM) in conformity with JIS G0602.
Pressure sensitive adhesive foams and articles therefrom
There is provided a pressure sensitive adhesive foam comprising a foam comprising a non-syntactic foam blend of styrenic block copolymer and acrylic copolymer wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive foam has an elongation of greater than 600%, wherein the non-syntactic foam blend is a hot melt formed foam. There is also provided multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive foams, pressure sensitive adhesive foam tapes and articles made using such pressure sensitive adhesive foam.
FLAME-RETARDED ELASTIC POLYURETHANE FOAM, ADHESIVE TAPE WITH A CARRIER MADE THEREFROM, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
Systems and methods provide a polyurethane foam. One method may obtainable the polyurethane foam by mechanical foaming with a starting mixture comprising a polyurethane dispersion, the polyurethane being composed of at least one polyisocyanate component and at least one polyol component, and at least one surfactant. The polyol component or at least one of the polyol components may comprise at least one comonomer having flame retardancy effect and containing two hydroxyl groups. The adhesive tapes produced therefrom may adhesively bond components in vehicles, aircraft or trains, or in electronic devices.
Foam materials resistant to high temperatures
The invention relates to foam materials that are resistant to high temperatures, to the production of same from aromatic polyisocyanates and polyepoxides, and to the use of said foam materials.
Activatable Polymer Composition Comprising At Least Two Carboxylic Acids as Blowing Agent
The invention relates to a curable volume expandable polymer composition comprising an organic acid component, wherein the organic acid component comprises a first organic acid, a second organic acid, and optionally one or more additional organic acids; wherein said polymer composition, when being heated to an activation of expansion temperature above room temperature, undergoes volume expansion. When the organic acid component is heated to the activation of expansion temperature, the first organic acid and/or the second organic acid and/or the optionally present one or more additional organic acids decarboxylate and thus release carbon dioxide. The polymer composition traps the thus released carbon dioxide thereby causing the polymer composition to undergo volume expansion.
FOAMED SEALING COMPOUNDS
A polymer based sealing compound which is foamed, which is applied to vehicle tyres for the reduction in weight and improvement of driving dynamics, a process for producing such foamed sealing compounds, and the use thereof in tyres.
