One embodiment provides a modular green roof tray, house plant growth media and horticulture growth media, and a tree protection mat for weed and moisture control made from recycled disposable diapers. The growth medium and tree protection mat contain superabsorbent materials from diaper that can absorb waters and greatly reduce irrigation so to provide a drought resistant feature. One embodiment also provides a manufacturing process to perform 100% recycling of disposed diapers.

Method for producing water-absorbent resin

The present invention addresses the problem of reducing the undried residue when recycling a fine powder of water-absorbing resin. The present invention is a method for producing a water-absorbing resin, wherein: a fine powder recycling step includes vi-1) a granulation step for obtaining a granulated gel, vi-2) a granulated gel addition step, and vi-3) a gel mixing step; the solids content of the granulated gel in the granulated gel addition step is 50-90% by mass; and the temperature of the granulated gel and the temperature of the water-containing gel-like crosslinked polymer is 50-100? C.

FOAMED COMPOSITIONS, FOAM PADDED MATERIALS, AND PACKAGING ARTICLES

Disclosed are polymeric foamed compositions, foam padded materials that include such polymeric foamed compositions disposed on a sheet material, and packaging articles (e.g., envelopes) made from such foam padded materials. The polymeric foamed composition on the sheet material has a plurality of foamed structures formed from the foamable composition attached to the sheet material by a layer of the foamable composition, and the plurality foam structures each having a hollow core and a foam exterior shell.

WATER-SOLUBLE FILMS, DETERGENT SINGLE DOSE PACKS EMPLOYING WATER-SOLUBLE FILMS, AND METHODS OF PRODUCING THE SAME

Water-soluble films, single dose packs, and methods for producing and using the same are disclosed. The water-soluble film includes polyvinyl alcohol and about 9000 ppm to about 150,000 ppm propylene glycol, about 0 ppm to about 230,000 ppm glycerin, and about 3,000 ppm to about 170,000 ppm polyethylene glycol. The single dose pack has a container that includes the water-soluble film. The single dose pack further includes a wash composition encapsulated within the container. The wash composition includes a detergent surfactant, water present in an amount of from about 8 to about 40 weight percent, based on the total weight of the wash composition, and a non-aqueous solvent mixture including propylene glycol, glycerin, and polyethylene glycol in an amount of from about 15 to about 50 weight percent, based on the total weight of the wash composition.

A water-soluble film includes: a polyvinyl alcohol resin (A); and a plasticizer (B), wherein the plasticizer (B) contains a polyhydric alcohol (b1) having a melting point of more than 50 C. and 100 C. or less, a polyhydric alcohol (b2) having a melting point of 50 C. or less, and a polyhydric alcohol (b3) having a melting point of more than 100 C. The water-soluble film has a high tensile strength and a high tensile elongation, and does not cause bleed-out before the formation of a package.

Super absorbent polymer and method for preparing the same

The present invention relates to a super absorbent polymer and a method for preparing the same. The present invention has features that it is possible to prepare a super absorbent resin that can have an improved centrifuge retention capacity (CRC) and a high absorbency under load (AUL) by controlling the shape and size of the chopper die holes during coarse pulverization of a hydrous gel phase polymer.

LIQUID CHEMICAL AGENT PACKAGE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR

A liquid chemical agent package includes: a package bag obtained by bonding water-soluble films each containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin (A) to each other; and a liquid chemical agent included in the package bag, wherein in a section in a vertical direction relative to bonding surfaces of the water-soluble films, the liquid chemical agent package contains 20 or more inorganic particles each having a particle diameter of 2 m or more in a sealed sectional portion having a range extending from an interface between the bonding surfaces by 10 m in the vertical direction and having a width of 900 m. The liquid chemical agent package has water solubility but also high adhesiveness of a water-sealed portion and is hence excellent in sealability, and is hardly affected over time from the end of water application to water sealing and hence maintains high sealability.

SUPER ABSORBENT POLYMER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

A super absorbent polymer according to the present invention has fast absorption rate while having high permeability and suction power, and thus is preferably used for hygienic materials such as diapers and can exhibit excellent performance.
