WATER-SOLUBLE PLASTIC ARTICLE
A plastic product has a plastic body injection-moulded or deep-drawn from water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH). The surface of the plastic body, which is exposed to ambient moisture or a water-containing substance from completion of the plastic product up to and during the intended use of the plastic product is completely coated with a continuous, water-impermeable and water-resistant protective layer and the plastic body can be completely dissolved in water after the intended use of the plastic product when a non-coated surface is exposed or after the continuous protective layer is destroyed. The protective layer is applied so thinly that it disintegrates or can be separated out of the water after the dissolution of the plastic body, and/or the protective layer (3) has a melting temperature between 50° C. and 90° C., preferably 60° C. to 85° C.
Water-soluble film and chemical agent package
A water-soluble film includes: a polyvinyl alcohol resin (A); and a plasticizer (B), wherein the plasticizer (B) contains a polyhydric alcohol (b1) having a melting point of more than 50° C. and 100° C. or less, a polyhydric alcohol (b2) having a melting point of 50° C. or less, and a polyhydric alcohol (b3) having a melting point of more than 100° C. The water-soluble film has a high tensile strength and a high tensile elongation, and does not cause bleed-out before the formation of a package.
Water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol film with plasticizer blend, related methods, and related articles
Disclosed herein are water-soluble films including a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) polymer and a combination of at least three plasticizers. The combination of plasticizers includes dipropylene glycol as a first plasticizer, a sugar alcohol such as sorbitol as a second plasticizer, and a polyol such as glycerin as a third plasticizer. When the PVOH polymer and plasticizers are blended in particular proportions and/or selected with regard to various criteria related to physical and chemical film properties, the resulting water-soluble film formed from the PVOH resin blend exhibits beneficial combinations four) of aged tensile strength, aged melting transition delta elevation, aged adhesion value, and/or resistance to seal peeling, which provide strong film seals that retain their water-solubility characteristics.
HYDROGEL POLYMERS
Hydrogel polymers for use, for example, in contact lenses, drug delivery systems and/or stimulating devices. In some embodiments, the hydrogel formulations comprise diluent(s) to improve the dehydration characteristics and mechanical properties of a hydrogel polymer formulation compared to those without diluent(s). The diluent(s) include, for example, water and hydrophilic diluent(s) such as humectants.
WATER-SOLUBLE FILM, MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND PACKAGE
The present disclosure relates to a water-soluble film with polyvinyl alcohol having a polymerization degree of 100 to 3,000 and a polyhydric alcohol plasticizer.
WATER-SOLUBLE FILM, MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND PACKAGE
The present disclosure relates to a water-soluble film comprising polyvinyl alcohol having a polymerization degree of 100 to 3,000 and a polyhydric alcohol plasticizer.
WATER-SOLUBLE FILM BASED DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR COLORANTS, GLITTER, AND OTHER CHEMISTRIES
Casings, dye tablets, DIY activity-kits include one or more casings, one or more encased dye tablets, or a combination thereof, that are configured to impart an artistic effect to an article, hydrographic sheets, and dip and decorator activity-kits including one or more hydrographic sheets and an instruction for imparting an artistic effect to the article using the one or more hydrographic sheets. The casings include at least one compartment formed of a water-soluble film, and one or more agents disposed within the at least one compartment. The encased dye tablet includes one or more agents compounded with a filler and a binder. The one or more agents include at least one colorant formulation and at least one fixative.
SALT RESPONSIVE NANOGELS AND NANOPARTICLES
Covalently linked linear polyethylenimine (PEI) clusters are provided that change conformation depending upon changes in counterion concentrations. The structures may be used for the storage, delivery, and/or transport of substances.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A MULTI-LAYERED FILM STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MULTI-LAYERED MICROSTRUCURES
There is provided a method of manufacturing a multi-layered film structure on a handling substrate. The film structure may hold a core film layer, which may hold an active ingredient. There is also provided method for manufacturing multi-layered microstructures. The microstructures may be manufactured based on a provided multi-layered film structure having a core film layer holding an active ingredient. The active ingredient may be a drug, and the microstructures may be used for drug delivery.
WATER-SOLUBLE FILM AND PACKAGING
[Problem to be solved] To provide a water-soluble film capable of achieving both cold water solubility and resistance to oxidative deterioration.
[Solution] A water-soluble film containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin, wherein the water-soluble film has a surface on at least one side in which an abundance ratio of carbonyl in all carbon bonds obtained by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is 1 to 5%, and a complete dissolution time in water at 10° C. is 120 seconds or less.
