PRODUCE OF POLYVINYL ALCOHOL BIODEGRADABLE FILMS SOLUBLE IN WATER AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES (BIOLON)
20210238386 · 2021-08-05 · ·

In recent years humans have experienced many industrial and technological advances in various fields. One such technology that is widely used in nowadays is the plastic film technology. Plastic films of various thicknesses and sizes are widely used in different areas of life. But these products are very damaging to the environment and endanger the lives of humans All this however, no suitable product has yet been found to replace it. Therefore, we decided to produce a new film (biolon) to replace the old plastic films in order to overcome the problems related to the use of them. Biolon is biodegradable and soluble in different temperature water.

RAPID SOLID-STATE FOAMING
20210237395 · 2021-08-05 · ·

Disclosed, among other things, are ways to manufacture reduced density thermoplastics using rapid solid-state foaming and machines useful for the saturation of plastic. In one embodiment, a foaming process may involve saturating a semi-crystalline polymer such as Polylactic Acid (PLA) with high levels of gas, and then heating, which may produce a reduced density plastic having high levels of crystallinity. In another embodiment, a foaming process may produce layered structures in reduced density plastics with or without integral skins. In another embodiment, a foaming process may produce deep draw structures in reduced density plastics with or without integral skins. In yet another embodiment, a foaming process may utilize additives, blends, or fillers, for example. In yet another embodiment, a foaming process may involve saturating a semi-crystalline polymer such as Polylactic Acid (PLA) with high levels of gas, and then heating, which may produce a reduced density plastic having high levels of crystallinity.

Method for manufacturing marker with aerated hydrogel

A system for aerating a marker material. The system includes a first container, a second container, and an aeration connector. The aeration connector includes a body and a screen disk disposed within the body. The first container is in communication with the second container via the aeration connector. The screen disk of the aeration connector is configured to aerate a marker material as the marker material is repeatedly passed between the first container and the second container.

METHOD OF PRODUCING BIOPLASTIC GRANULES FROM OLIVE PIT WASTE (PRINA)

A method for producing bioplastic granules includes the steps of subjecting an olive pit waste (prina) from olive oil factories to two different chemical shredding processes, extracting a necessary material for a bioplastic production from a shredded olive pit waste and adding natural polymerizer form holders into the necessary material.

DEGRADABLE THIOL-ENE POLYMERS AND METHODS OF MAKING THEREOF
20210154306 · 2021-05-27 ·

Provided are methods for linking polypeptides (including peptides and proteins) to other moieties using radical imitated thiol-ene chemistries, for example, modifying a polypeptide by introducing reactive thiol groups and reacting the thiol groups with olefin-containing reagents or alkyne-containing reagents under conditions that support radical thiol-ene or thiol-yne reactions. The reactive thiol groups have greater activity for radical thiol-ene reactions that a cysteine thiol group, including thiol groups that are separated from the peptide backbone by at least two carbon atoms, for example, the thiol group of a homocysteine residue. Also provided are compositions and biomaterials containing the linked polypeptides, for example, peptide and protein conjugates, and thiol-ene based biocompatible hydrogel polymers, and their uses in the medical field.

Biodegradable sheet

Disclosed is a biodegradable sheet comprising at least one layer which is a direct contact layer, intended to successfully contact materials, such as liquids, while maintaining the mechanical properties of the sheet and to extend the biodegradable sheet shelf life. The direct contact layer may comprise a hydrophobic polymer selected from poly(epsilon-caprolactone) (PCL) polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB), Polydioxanone (PDO) polyglycolic acid (PGA), polybutylene succinate (PBS), polybutylene succinate adipate (PBSA), poly lactic acid (PLA), polybutylene adipate terphtalate (PBAT), polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), such as polyhydroxybutyrates (PHB), polyhydroxyvalerates (PHV), and polyhydroxybutyrate-hydroxyvalerate copolymers (PHBV) or any mixture thereof. The biodegradable sheet may further comprise surface treated nanoclay particles, PVOH grafted with a crosslinker and PBS or PBSA The first hydrophobic polymer is present in said at least one layer in an amount of about 30% w/w.

RADIOPAQUE POLYMERS

A polymer having a backbone comprising a polyhydroxylated polymer cross linked by a C3 to C8 diacid.
