20230151170 · 2023-05-18 ·

A stretch film (1) contains an olefin elastomer and an inorganic filler (3). Stress at 50% elongation is 6.0 N or more and 15.0 N or less, and moisture permeability is 1000 g/(m.sup.2.Math.24 h) or more.

FOAMED ARTICLES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME

Foamed articles including a foamed thermoplastic elastomeric material, methods of making the foamed articles, and methods for manufacturing articles of footwear, apparel, and athletic equipment incorporating such foamed articles are provided. In one aspect, a method for making a foamed article comprises placing an article comprising a foamable material and carbon dioxide in a vessel, maintaining the vessel at a first pressure and first temperature at which the carbon dioxide is a liquid and carbon dioxide is soluble in the foamable material, optionally exposing the infused article to a second temperature and second pressure, and subjecting the article to a third pressure and third temperature at which the infused carbon dioxide phase transitions to a gas, thereby expanding the foamable material into a foamed material and forming the foamed article.

Articles and methods of making articles including a coating
11647809 · 2023-05-16 · ·

The present disclosure is directed to articles that include a cured coating that includes a matrix of crosslinked polymers and optionally a colorant (e.g., pigment particles or dye or both). The cured coating can include a matrix of crosslinked polymers. The cured coating is a product of crosslinking a coating composition comprising uncrosslinked polymers (e.g., a dispersion of uncrosslinked polymers in a carrier to form the matrix of crosslinked polymers), wherein the uncrosslinked polymers are crosslinked to form the matrix of crosslinked polymers. The matrix of crosslinked polymers can be elastomeric. The present disclosure is also directed to articles including these bladders, methods of forming these bladders, and methods of making articles including these bladders, where the bladders include the cured coating.

Microsphere-Coated Polyurethane Articles and Methods of Making the Same

Described herein is a multilayered article and methods of making and using such articles. The multilayered article comprises: .Math. (a) a microsphere layer comprising a plurality of microspheres (11) disposed in a monolayer; .Math. (b) a bead bonding layer (12) comprising a first major surface and a second opposing major surface wherein the plurality of microspheres is at least partially embedded in the first major surface of the bead bonding layer, and wherein the bead bonding layer comprises a thermoset polyurethane, and wherein the thermoset polyurethane is derived from one or more liquid polyols; and .Math. (c) an elastomeric layer (14) disposed on the second opposing major surface of the bead bonding layer.

Methods and apparatuses for making elastomeric laminates with elastic strands provided with a spin finish

The present disclosure relates to methods for making elastomeric laminates that may be used as components of absorbent articles. The methods and apparatuses may be configured with a plurality of elastic strands wound onto a beam, wherein one or more elastic strands comprises a spin finish. During assembly of an elastomeric laminate, the beam is rotated to unwind the elastic strands from the beam. A portion of the spin finish may be removed from the advancing elastic strand with a spin finish removal apparatus. The spin finish removal apparatus may be configured to apply detergent to an advancing elastic strand and may also wipe and/or dry the advancing elastic strand. The treated stretched elastic strand may then be connected between a first substrate and a second substrate. In some configurations, adhesive may be applied to the treated the elastic strand, the first substrate, and/or the second substrate.

Thermoplastic elastomer composition, foam particle, and foam molded body

The thermoplastic elastomer composition contains a thermoplastic elastomer and a pigment.

Material Shaping Method and Shaped Products
20230138694 · 2023-05-04 · ·

The present invention relates to a method of shaping material having a plurality of interstices (such as a network of voids) and shaped products formed by the method. In preferred embodiments the material is a foam such as a polyurethane foam. The shaping method allows such materials to be shaped using contour-shaping machining methods including computer numerical control (CNC) milling, which is provided by way of example only. To be contrasted with methods of manufacturing a shaped material (such as by the polymerisation of a solution or emulsion of monomers), in several aspects the present invention contemplates the shaping of existing (preformed) materials having a plurality of interstices, such as a network of voids.
