Polysaccharide-elastomer masterbatch compositions
Disclosed herein are polysaccharide-elastomer masterbatch compositions and processes for preparing the masterbatch compositions. One method comprises a step of a) mixing i) an aqueous polysaccharide dispersion, or ii) a basic aqueous polysaccharide solution, with a rubber latex solution containing a rubber component to form a mixture. The method further comprises the steps of: b) coagulating the mixture obtained in step a) to produce a coagulated mass; and c) drying the coagulated mass obtained in step b). The masterbatch compositions are useful in preparing rubber-containing articles.

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to thermoset articles including a crosslinked reaction product of thermoplastic polyolefin, at least one of ethylene alpha-olefin polyolefin elastomer and ethylene propylene diene rubber, nitrile butadiene rubber, and silane. At least one of the thermoplastic polyolefin, the at least one of the ethylene alpha-olefin polyolefin elastomer and the ethylene propylene diene rubber, and the nitrile butadiene rubber is silane grafted and silane crosslinked. The silane crosslinking is at least one of intramolecular silane crosslinking and intermolecular silane crosslinking.
FLEXIBLE FOAM WITH IMPROVED INSULATION PROPERTIES

Cross-linkable nitrile rubber composition and cross-linked rubber
A cross-linkable nitrile rubber composition including a highly saturated nitrile rubber (A) containing ,-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units in a ratio of 5 to 50 wt % and having an iodine value of 120 or less, a polysaccharide polymer staple fiber (B) having an average fiber diameter of 1 m or less, and a cross-linking agent (C), wherein a ratio of content of the polysaccharide polymer staple fiber (B) is 0.5 to 30 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the highly saturated nitrile rubber (A).
RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR VULCANIZATION MOLDING, PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND APPLICATION THEREOF
A rubber composition for vulcanization molding which can be manufactured into a rubber product with good dimensional stability, good appearance and sufficiently light weight, a process for manufacturing the same, and applications thereof. A rubber composition for vulcanization molding containing hollow particles and a base rubber, wherein the hollow particles are composed of a thermoplastic resin shell and a thermally vaporizable blowing agent encapsulated therein and have a specified further expansion ratio, and the base rubber has a Mooney viscosity ML (1+4) ranging from 5 to 90 at 100 C. Also disclosed is a process for manufacturing the rubber composition, hollow particles used for manufacturing the rubber composition, a masterbatch including the hollow particles and a rubber product manufactured from the rubber composition.
Coating agent aqueous dispersion
A coating agent aqueous dispersion comprising, as solid matters, 20 to 80 wt. %, preferably 29 to 70 wt. %, of PTFE, 10 to 50 wt. %, preferably 14 to 36 wt. %, of acrylic resin, and 10 to 50 wt. %, preferably 20 to 45 wt. %, of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin. When the coating agent aqueous dispersion of the present invention is used as a surface-treating agent for rubber-made sealing materials, etc., a reduction in stickiness to the sealing mate material and the prevention of blooming on the surface of the rubber material are obtained. Combined with the flexibility, the adhesion balance between the rubber material and the coating agent is excellent.

A cross-linkable rubber composition contains: a nitrile group-containing copolymer rubber [A] including less than 30 wt % ,-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units (a1), conjugated diene monomer units (b1), and ,-ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monoester monomer units (d1), wherein at least part of the conjugated diene monomer units (b1) is hydrogenated; a nitrile group-containing copolymer rubber [B] including not less than 30 wt % ,-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer units (a2) and conjugated diene monomer units (b2), wherein at least part of the conjugated diene monomer units (b2) may be hydrogenated; and an amine-based cross-linking agent.
INITIATOR NANOCONSTITUENTS FOR ELASTOMER CROSSLINKING AND RELATED METHODS AND ARTICLES
An initiator nanoconstituent comprises a nanoparticle covalently bonded to a group having a free radical. The nanoparticle may be bonded to the group via an ether group or an amide group. The initiator nanoconstituent may be formed in situ, in a mixture comprising an elastomer material to be crosslinked. The initiator nanoconstituent is formed from an organic nanoconstituent compound that includes the nanoparticle and an organic group that does not include a free radical at the time the mixture is formed. At least one chemical bond of the organic nanoconstituent compound may be ruptured, in situ, to form the initiator nanoconstituent, which may then bond with polymer molecules of the elastomer material and form a crosslinked elastomer material. Downhole tools or components thereof may include such crosslinked elastomer material.
