CONDUCTIVE POLYMER COMPOSITION, SUBSTRATE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUBSTRATE
An object is to obtain a composition capable of: forming a uniform film even by spray coating or even when the composition is applied in the form of ink for inkjet printing; and preventing light emission from a portion other than an ITO electrode surface when the film is mounted on an organic EL device and light is emitted from the device. A conductive polymer composition contains: a composite containing a π-conjugated polymer (A) and a polymer (B) shown by a general formula (1); H.sub.2O (D) for dispersing the composite; a water-soluble organic solvent (C); and a compound (E) shown by a general formula (2). The electric conductivity of a film with a thickness of 20 to 200 nm formed from the conductive polymer composition is less than 1.00E-05 S/cm.

Ion exchange membranes obtainable by curing a composition comprising: (a) a monomer comprising an aromatic group and at least one polymerisable ethylenically unsaturated group; (b) a photoinitiator which has an absorption maximum at a wavelength longer than 380 nm when measured in one or more of the following solvents at a temperature of 23° C.: water, ethanol and toluene; and (c) at least one co-initiator.
SILVER NANOPLATE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
Embodiments of the present invention relate to methods for preparing high optical density solutions of nanoparticle, such as nanoplates, silver nanoplates or silver platelet nanoparticles, and to the solutions and substrates prepared by the methods. The process can include the addition of stabilizing agents (e.g., chemical or biological agents bound or otherwise linked to the nanoparticle surface) that stabilize the nanoparticle before, during, and/or after concentration, thereby allowing for the production of a stable, high optical density solution of silver nanoplates. The process can also include increasing the concentration of silver nanoplates within the solution, and thus increasing the solution optical density.

Doped poly(2-vinylpyridine) which comprises 2 to 30 wt % of a dopant which is a C.sub.9-C.sub.25 aliphatic polycyclic compound.
POROUS LAYER, LOW-REFLECTIVE COATING LAYER, OPTICAL MEMBER, AND METHODS OF FABRICATING THE POROUS LAYER
Provided are a low-reflective coating layer, a porous layer, a method of fabricating the porous layer, and an optical member including the porous layer. According to an embodiment, a low-reflective coating layer comprising a porous film having hollow sphere structures or bowl-like structures is provided. Each hollow sphere structure or bowl-like structure may have cavity formed therein. The hollow sphere structures or the bowl-like structures may be formed from spherical micelles, and each spherical micelle may be formed by self-assembling a supramolecular complex of a first compound block and a second compound block. In addition, the first compound block may constitute a backbone of the supramolecular chemical compound and the second compound block may constitute a side chain of the supramolecular. The second compound block may be non-covalent bonded to the first compound block.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A POLYELECTROLYTE COMPLEX MEMBRANE
The present invention relates to a method for producing a polyelectrolyte complex (PEC) membrane having a predetermined porosity via salt dilution induced phase separation, in which a liquid polymer solution (P) containing polyanions (A) and polycations (C) dissolved in an aqueous medium at an overcritical salt concentration is exposed to an aqueous medium.
Crosslinked copolymer and ionic exchange film
A crosslinked copolymer is provided, which includes a copolymer crosslinked by a crosslinking agent. The copolymer is copolymerized of (a) styrene-based monomer, (b) monomer having conjugated double bonds or acrylate ester monomer, and (c) ammonium-containing heterocyclic monomer. The crosslinking agent is (d) ##STR00001##

THERMOELECTRIC POLYMER AEROGELS AND METHODS OF FABRICATION THEREOF
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus related to thermoelectric polymer aerogels. In one aspect, a method includes depositing a solution on a substrate. The solution comprises a thermoelectric polymer. Solvent of the solution is removed to form a layer of the thermoelectric polymer. The layer is placed in a polar solvent to form a gel comprising the thermoelectric polymer. The gel is cooled to freeze the polar solvent. The gel is placed in a vacuum environment to sublimate the polar solvent from the gel to form an aerogel comprising the thermoelectric polymer.
