BINDER FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY ELECTRODE, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR AND USE THEREFOR
Provided is a binder for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrode. The binder contains a crosslinked polymer having a carboxyl group, or salt thereof, a use therefor, and a method for manufacturing a carboxyl group-containing crosslinked polymer or salt thereof for use in the binder. The crosslinked polymer contains a structural unit derived from an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer in the amount of 50 to 100 mass % of total structural units, and after the crosslinked polymer neutralized to a degree of a neutralization of 80 to 100 mol % has been subjected to water swelling in water and then dispersed in a 1 mass % NaCl aqueous solution, the particle diameter thereof is 0.1 to 7.0 μm in a volume-based median diameter.
PARTICULATE WATER-ABSORBING RESIN COMPOSITION, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, ABSORBENT OBJECT, AND ABSORBENT ARTICLE
A particulate water-absorbing resin composition having excellent flowability is provided. The particulate water-absorbing resin composition comprises a hydrazide compound and a water-absorbing resin.
CROSS-LINKED POLYMERS AND THEIR USE IN PACKAGING FILMS AND INJECTION MOLDED ARTICLES
Provided are novel cross-linked polymers and their use in various materials, including packaging films and injection molded articles. These polymers, which comprise certain hydroxyl-containing crosslinking compounds, as well as optionally adjuvants, show improved creep resistance when compared to conventional ethylene acrylic or methacrylic acid copolymers and their ionomers.
Mineral wool insulation
Mineral wool insulation products are provided. The mineral wool insulation includes a plurality of mineral wool fibers and a wax emulsion applied to the mineral wool fibers. The wax emulsion imparts excellent water resistance and thermal performance properties to the mineral wool insulation.
Method for producing superabsorbent polymer
The present invention relates to a superabsorbent polymer and a method for producing the same. The superabsorbent polymer includes a core layer polymerized with monomers having carboxylic group, a first shell layer formed from a surface crosslinking agent, and a second shell layer formed from zingiberaceae extracts. By a surface modification on the first shell layer performed from a specific amount of the zingiberaceae extracts, the superabsorbent polymer produced according to the method for producing the same has a good antimicrobial property and deodorizing effects, and retains an original absorbent property.
Preparation Method for Super Absorbent Polymer Sheet, Super Absorbent Polymer Sheet Prepared Therefrom
The present disclosure relates to a preparation method for a super absorbent polymer sheet and a super absorbent polymer sheet prepared therefrom. According to the preparation method of the present disclosure, a porous super absorbent polymer sheet can be prepared by a simplified process.
HEAT-EXPANDABLE MICROSPHERES AND APPLICATION THEREOF
Heat-expandable microspheres including a thermoplastic resin shell and a thermally-vaporizable blowing agent encapsulated therein. The thermoplastic resin is produced by polymerizing a polymerizable component containing (A) a nitrile monomer including acrylonitrile and methacrylonitrile, (B) a carboxyl-group-containing monomer, and (C) a monomer copolymerizable with the nitrile monomer (A) and the carboxyl-group-containing monomer (B). Further, the amount of the acrylonitrile in the nitrile monomer (A) ranges from 0.1 to 9 wt % based on the nitrile monomer (A). Also disclosed are hollow particles manufactured by heating and expanding the heat-expandable microspheres; a composition containing a base compound and at least one particulate material selected from the heat-expandable microspheres and the hollow particles; and a formed product manufactured by molding or applying a coat of the composition.
Black polymer particles
This invention relates to a process for the preparation of a dispersion comprising black polymer particles, such black polymer particles prepared by the process, the use of the dispersion and the black polymer particles in electrophoretic fluids, and electrophoretic display devices comprising such fluids.
DEGRADATION OF SUPERABSORBENT POLYMER VIA OXIDATIVE DEGRADATION
A method for degrading crosslinked and poly(acrylic acid)-based superabsorbent polymer (SAP) into soluble polyacrylic acid polymers is disclosed. Degradation is achieved with an oxidative water-soluble salt comprising at least one cation and at least one anion.
Super absorbent polymer and preparation method thereof
The super absorbent polymer according to the present invention has reduced 3-hour saline solution re-wet while having a high absorption rate and absorption against pulp, and thus can be used for hygienic materials such as diapers, thereby exhibiting excellent performance.
