Circuit board using low dielectric resin composition
A circuit board includes an insulating made by a low dielectric resin composition includes a low dielectric resin containing acid anhydride, an epoxy resin, polyphenylene ether resin with vinyl and active esters, maleic acid liquid polybutadiene, and an accelerator. Such low dielectric resin can be dissolved in organic solvent more easily than a low dielectric resin without acid anhydride, and the low dielectric resin containing acid anhydride has a better compatibility with other organic components than a low dielectric resin without acid anhydride. A low dielectric resin composition with lower dielectric constant and better properties can thus be obtained.

A footwear article is provided. The footwear article includes a shoe sole. The shoe sole includes a crosslinked foam polyolefin elastomer having a density less than 0.88 g/cm.sup.3, the crosslinked foam polyolefin elastomer including: a silane-grafted polyolefin elastomer, a silane-grafted olefin block copolymer, a polyolefin elastomer (POE), an olefin block copolymer (OBC), or a combination thereof; an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer; a crosslinker; a condensation catalyst; and a foaming agent. The shoe sole exhibits a compression set of from about 1.0% to about 50.0%, as measured according to ASTM D 395 (48 hrs @ 50° C.).
Puncture-healing thermoplastic resin carbon-fiber reinforced composites
A composite comprising a combination of a self-healing polymer matrix and a carbon fiber reinforcement is described. In one embodiment, the matrix is a polybutadiene graft copolymer matrix, such as polybutadiene graft copolymer comprising poly(butadiene)-graft-poly(methyl acrylate-co-acrylonitrile). A method of fabricating the composite is also described, comprising the steps of manufacturing a pre-impregnated unidirectional carbon fiber preform by wetting a plurality of carbon fibers with a solution, the solution comprising a self-healing polymer and a solvent, and curing the preform. A method of repairing a structure made from the composite of the invention is described. A novel prepreg material used to manufacture the composite of the invention is described.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED BODY THEREOF
The present invention provides a resin composition having superior flexibility and that exhibits excellent durability in thermal molding, and a molded body of such a resin composition. The present invention relates to a resin composition comprising: a copolymer (B) constituted of a vinyl alcohol polymer (B-1) region and a diene polymer (B-2) region; and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a phenol-based compound (C), an amine-based compound (D), and a phosphorus-based compound (E).
THIN FILM, MANUFACTURING METHOD AND USES THEREOF
The present disclosure provides a thin film including a first thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) elastomer which is anhydride-grafted. The present disclosure further provides a method for manufacturing the thin film, a laminated material and a method for adhesion.
NOVEL POLYISOBUTYLENE-BASED THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMERS
The present invention is directed to a new class of thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) and processes for making them. In some embodiments of the present invention, the end groups of the multi-arm PIB copolymer is a conjugated diene, whereas the other component is a multi-functional dienophile. The components of the TPE of the present invention are chemically connected via the well-known Diels-Alder reaction which is thermally reversible (by the retro-Diels-Alder reaction) at moderately elevated temperatures. The reversibility of the Diels-Alder retro-Diels-Alder reactions allows the recovery of the original components of the TPE and thus its recyclability and also gives the TPE the ability to be reshaped or reformed.
Adhesion promoter composition for polyolefinic membranes
Composition, comprising—at least one organic polymer,—at least one monomer from the group of acrylates,—at least one catalyst from the group of tertiary organic amines,—at least one solvent.

Expandable composite resin bead
An expandable composite resin bead containing an organic physical blowing agent and a base resin composed of a composite resin obtained by polymerizing a styrene monomer in a polypropylene resin. The styrene monomer is polymerized in an amount of more than 400 parts by mass and not more than 1900 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polypropylene resin. The composite resin contains xylene solubles to be obtained through xylene solvent Soxhlet extraction of the expandable composite resin bead, the xylene solubles contain acetone solubles to be obtained through dissolution of the xylene solubles into acetone, and the acetone solubles have an absorbance ratio A (D.sub.698/D.sub.1376) of an absorbance D.sub.698 to an absorbance D.sub.1376 that are respectively measured at a wavenumber of 698 cm.sup.−1 and 1376 cm.sup.−1 as infrared absorption spectra of the acetone solubles within a range of from 8.5 to 23.
