Elastic body, bump stop, electromagnetic induction device, power generation system, detection device, and production method for elastic body
An elastic body of this disclosure contains magnetized magnetic powder dispersed in an elastic member, and generates an induced current in a circuit by undergoing an elastic deformation to cause a change in magnetic flux density. The elastic member is an elastomeric foam.
FOAMED ARTICLES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Foamed articles including a foamed thermoplastic elastomeric material, methods of making the articles, and methods for manufacturing articles of footwear, apparel, and athletic equipment incorporating the articles are provided. One exemplary method for making a foamed article comprises placing an article comprising a foamable fibrous element and carbon dioxide in a vessel, the foamable fibrous element comprising a plurality of filaments, fibers, and/or yarns, wherein each member of the plurality comprises a foamable material; maintaining the vessel at a first pressure and first temperature at which the carbon dioxide is a liquid and carbon dioxide is soluble in the foamable material; optionally exposing the infused article to a second temperature and second pressure; and subjecting the article to a third pressure and third temperature at which the infused carbon dioxide phase transitions to a gas, thereby expanding the foamable material into a foamed material and forming the foamed article.
MICROWELL FILM FOR BIOASSAY, PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR FORMATION OF THE MICROWELL FILM FOR BIOASSAY, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE MICROWELL FILM FOR BIOASSAY
To provide microwell films for bioassay suitable for a “unimolecular enzyme assay” method and methods of manufacturing the films, a microwell film for bioassay is comprised of at least a substrate (11), and a resin layer (12) having microwells on its surface provided on one main surface of the substrate (11), where in the substrate (11) and the resin forming the resin layer (12), an absorption coefficient at each of wavelengths of 350 nm to 800 nm is 0.01 μm.sup.−1 or less.
FILM INCLUDING HYBRID SOLVENT BARRIER AND PRIMER LAYER
Conformable, stretchable, printable films are described. In particular, films that include a film substrate, a pressure sensitive adhesive, and a hybrid solvent barrier/primer layer including a blend of two copolyamides that are not miscible are described. Such hybrid solvent barrier and primer layers may be effective as both a solvent barrier and a primer layer.
Thermoplastic Polymer Particles and Method for Preparing Same
The present invention relates to a method for preparing thermoplastic polymer particles, the method comprising the steps of: (1) extruding a thermoplastic polymer resin by means of an extruder; (2) granulating the extruded polymer resin by using an inert gas; and (3) cooling the granulated thermoplastic polymer resin, and thermoplastic polymer particles prepared thereby.
MICRO-ENCAPSULATED PHASE-CHANGE MATERIAL, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF, AND PILLOW COMPRISING THE SAME
A micro-encapsulated phase-change material (MEPCM), includes, by weight: 120-150 parts of a phase-change material; 25-30 parts of methyl methacrylate; 1-4 parts of methacrylic acid; 45-54 parts of butyl acrylate; 0.2-0.7 parts of an initiator; 10-12 parts of an emulsifier; and 600-700 parts of deionized water.
POLYOL RESIN BLEND FOR USE IN PRODUCING STABLE POLYOL COMPONENTS
The present disclosure relates to a polyol resin blend for use in a polyurethane formulation. The polyol resin blend generally includes (a) an amine having a pKa value between about 6 and about 8.5 and a protonated amine obtained by contacting a methylamino-containing tertiary amine or primary etheramine having a pKa value greater than about 9 and an acid compound, (b) a polyol, and (c) a halogenated olefin. The present disclosure also provides polyurethane formulations containing the polyol resin blend and methods of making polyurethane foam from such polyurethane formulations.
Coating Composition for Polyurethane Foam and Polyurethane Foam Using Same
A coating agent composition for polyurethane foam is provided. The coating agent may not only exhibit adhesive properties suitable for an automated process for producing a battery pack, but also has a uniform surface and has excellent durability and reliability in a severe environment. Polyurethane foam using the coating agent composition is also provided. Specifically, coating agent composition for polyurethane foam includes a (meth)acrylate-based monomer, an urethane acrylate, a photoinitiator, and inorganic fine particles, wherein a content of the inorganic fine particles is 100 parts by weight to 500 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the photoinitiator.
BIOFILM COMPOSITE CARRIER AND PREPARATION METHOD AND USE THEREOF
A biofilm composite carrier and a preparation method and use thereof are provided. The biofilm composite carrier includes a polyurethane framework, an adhesive and a functional material, wherein the functional material is adhered to the surface and pores of the polyurethane framework through the adhesive, and the functional material is a mixture of zeolite and tourmaline. The biofilm composite carrier is beneficial to the quick start-up and stable operation of the municipal sewage deammonification system under conditions of low temperature and low ammonium.
THERMALLY INSULATED MEDIUM PIPES HAVING HFO-CONTAINING CELL GAS
The invention relates to a thermally insulated conduit pipe, comprising at least one medium pipe, at least one thermal insulation arranged around the medium pipe, and at least one outer jacket arranged around the thermal insulation, wherein the outer jacket possibly comprises a barrier made of plastic, and wherein the thermal insulation comprises a foam, the cell gas of which contains at least 10 vol % HFOs.
