This kind of rolling film has a uniform thickness and high surface gloss, and is yellowing resistant, abrasion resistant, flame retardant, and low-temperature resistant.
Foamable crosslinkable polymer composition containing a functionalized particulate bicarbonate as blowing agent and method for manufacturing a crosslinked foamed polymer therefrom
A foamable polymer composition comprising a crosslinkable polymer, a crosslinking peroxide compound, and a chemical blowing agent comprising a functionalized particulate bicarbonate containing at least one additive. The additive may be selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid, a rosin acid, any derivative thereof, and salts thereof; or any combinations thereof, such as comprising abietic acid, dihydroabietic acid, neoabietic acid, a rosin acid ester, linoleic acid, or mixtures thereof. The particulate bicarbonate may be preferably functionalized by spray-coating, extrusion or co-grinding with at least one additive. The functionalized particulate bicarbonate may further comprise 0.1-5 wt % silica. A process for manufacturing a foamed crosslinked polymer, such as EVA and/or crosslinked polyolefins, and a foamed crosslinked polymer obtained by such process.
Thermoplastic resin film, adhesive sheet, and thermal transfer image-receiving sheet
Provided is a thermoplastic resin film comprising a base layer (A) containing a thermoplastic resin and a coating layer (B) provided on at least one surface of the base layer (A), the coating layer (B) containing components derived from (a) an emulsion containing resin particles formed from an olefin-based copolymer and (b) an ethyleneimine-based resin, wherein the thermoplastic resin film is characterized in that a volume-average particle size of the resin particles contained in the emulsion is from 0.1 to 0.72 m. The thermoplastic resin film has good coloring performance during printing using gold ink and/or silver ink, has conventional transferability and adhesiveness even in hot melt transfer, and shows little generation of paper dust.
FOAM COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
Components for articles of footwear and athletic equipment are provided including a foam. A variety of foams and foam components and compositions for forming the foams are provided. In some aspects, the foams and components including the foams can have exceptionally high energy return while also having improved durability and softness. In particular, midsoles including the foams are provided for use in an article of footwear. Methods of making the compositions and foams are provided, as well as methods of making an article of footwear including one of the foam components. In some aspects, the foams and foam components can be made by injection molding or injection molding followed by compression molding.
Polymer compositions and articles made therefrom
Provided are blend compositions comprising a propylene-based elastomer and a polyalphaolefin. The blend compositions may be particularly useful in elastic film compositions, and especially useful as elastic film layers in nonwoven laminates. The film may comprise a blend of from about 0.5 to about 60 wt % of a polyalphaolefin and 40 to 99.5 wt % of a propylene-based elastomer. The film may comprise a blend of a propylene-base elastomer that comprises propylene and from 5 to 30 wt % of an -olefin and a polyalphaolefin having a kinematic viscosity (KV) at 100 C. of from 3 to 3000 cSt.

Composition for soft skins and uses thereof
A composition is disclosed, comprising a block copolymer, at least one homopolymer or copolymer of butene, and at least one olefin homopolymer or copolymer, wherein said block copolymer has hydrogenated low-vinyl polybutadiene end blocks with a specific gravity>0.85 g/cc, and a controlled distribution midblock of polyalkenyl arene/hydrogenated diene. Although the block copolymer has a preferred linear structure as a triblock copolymer, it may also be branched or radial coupled copolymer that has at least 2 arms or more. The composition is useful for rotational molding, slush molding, injection molding, extrusion or compression molding, or thermoforming or calendering for making articles that are resistant to chemicals such as diesel fuel, for the automotive market, for example. The MFR of the block copolymer is 1 to about 50 g/10 min. at 230 C., with a wt. of 2.16 kg.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYPROPYLENE-BASED RESIN EXPANDED BEADS AND MOLDED ARTICLE OF POLYPROPYLENE-BASED RESIN EXPANDED BEADS
A method for producing polypropylene-based resin expanded beads each having a through-hole by performing a first expanding step and a second expanding step is provided. In the first expanding step, tubular resin particles containing carbon black and having through-holes are dispersed in a dispersion medium and released to an environment under a low pressure, thereby obtaining first-step expanded beads having a bulk ratio of M.sub.1 times.
