An allyl-containing resin is provided. The allyl-containing resin comprises a repeating unit comprising a structural unit represented by the following formula (I):
##STR00001## wherein, R.sub.1 to R.sub.3 in formula (I) are as defined in the specification; the Fourier transform infrared spectrum of the allyl-containing resin has a signal intensity “a” from 1650 cm.sup.−1 to 1630 cm.sup.−1 and a signal intensity “b” from 1620 cm.sup.−1 to 1560 cm.sup.−1, and 0<a/b≤1.20; and the quantitative .sup.1H-NMR spectrum of the allyl-containing resin has a signal intensity “c” from 3.2 ppm to 6.2 ppm and a signal intensity “d” from 6.6 ppm to 7.4 ppm, and 0<c/d≤1.20.

An elastomeric composition and method incorporating a hydrocarbon polymer modifier with improved permanence. The composition comprises elastomer, filler and silane-functionalized hydrocarbon polymer modifier (Si-HPM) made in a pre-reaction adapted to couple the Si-HPM to the elastomer, filler or both, wherein the Si-HPM comprises an interpolymer of monomers chosen from piperylenes, cyclic pentadienes, aromatics, limonenes, pinenes, amylenes, and combinations thereof.

PURE CONDUCTING POLYMER HYDROGEL AND HYDROGEL PRECURSOR MATERIALS HAVING EXTRAORDINARY ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL AND SWELLING PROPERTIES AND METHODS OF MAKING
Pure conducting hydrogel precursors and hydrogels formed of pure conducting polymer materials having a combination of high electrical conductivity, high stretchability, low Young's modulus, superior mechanical, electrical and electrochemical stability, and tunable swelling behaviors in wet physiological environments. The hydrogel precursors and hydrogels are fabricated by adding a polar organic solvent to an aqueous solution of the pure conducting polymer material, followed by controlled dry-annealing to form a hydrogel precursor which can be subsequently rehydrated to form a pure conducting polymer hydrogel which comprises at least 99% of the pure conducting polymer.
Glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition and preparation method thereof
The present invention discloses a glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition which includes following components in parts by weight: 35 to 71 parts of a PBT resin; 5 to 30 parts of a flame retardant; and 5 to 50 parts of a glass fiber; based on a total weight of the glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition, a content of tetrahydrofuran is less than/equal to 500 ppm and more than/equal to 10 ppm. In the present invention, when the content of tetrahydrofuran which is selected to be added in a formula of the glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition, is less than/equal to 500 ppm and more than/equal to 10 ppm based on the total weight of the glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition, a flowability and injection molding appearance of the glass fiber-reinforced flame retardant PBT composition can be apparently improved.
