Thickener, composition, and sheet
It is an object of the present invention to provide a thickener capable of exhibiting excellent light resistance. The present invention relates to a thickener comprising cellulose fibers having a fiber width of 8 nm or less and water, wherein the thickener is a slurry or a gel, and when the thickener is filled in a colorless and transparent glass cell having an inside dimension of 1 cm in depth×4 cm in width×4.5 cm in height and the thickener is then irradiated with ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 300 nm or more and 400 nm or less, using a xenon lamp, from the side of the maximum area surface of the glass cell, so as to be an irradiance of 180 W/m.sup.2 and an integrated light amount of 500 mJ/m.sup.2, the amount of a change in the yellowness before and after ultraviolet irradiation measured in accordance with JIS K 7373 is 10 or less.
Oxime Cross-Linked Biocompatible Polymer Hydrogels and Methods of Use Thereof
Methods and hydrogels for preventing or reducing cellular adhesion and protein adsorption to a tissue (e.g. cardiac tissue) are disclosed. The hydrogels generally include at least two component polymers, a first polymer including an aminooxy group and a second polymer including a reactive oxo group, that are cross-linked by oxime bonds. The hydrogels are suitable for binding to and coating a tissue or cell. The hydrogels operate to reduce cellular adhesions and protein adsorption to the tissue or cell.
Fluorine-Containing Resin Composition, and Resin Vanish, Fluorine-Containing Dielectric Sheet, Laminate, Copper Clad Laminate and Printed Circuit Board Containing the Same
The present invention relates to a fluorine-containing resin composition, and a resin vanish, a fluorine-containing dielectric sheet, a laminate, a copper clad laminate and a printed circuit board containing the same. The fluorine-containing resin composition comprises 30 wt. %-70 wt. % of a fluorine-containing polymer, 30 wt. %-70 wt. % of an inorganic filler which includes the following particle size distribution: D10 is greater than 1.5 μm; and D50 is 10-15 μm. In the present invention, the selection of an inorganic filler with a specific particle size distribution can ensure that the boards prepared by the fluorine-containing resin composition have excellent dielectric properties and voltage resistance performance, even if the inorganic filler is added in a large amount.
