Preparation method of polyorganosiloxane-polycarbonate and its application
The invention relates to the technical field of polymer materials, in particular to a preparation method of polyorganosiloxane-polycarbonate and its application. The preparation method includes the following steps: A: The preparation of polycarbonate terminated by acyl chloride. B: Preparation of polyorganosiloxane-polycarbonate. In the invention, the polyorganosiloxane-polycarbonate has excellent mechanical properties due to the introduction of polydimethylsiloxane terminated by eugenol in the main chain. In particular, the polysiloxane-polycarbonate has high low temperature impact strength, low ductility/brittleness transition temperature and good flame retardancy. In the invention, the polycarbonate modified by the Polyorganosiloxane-polycarbonate has good flexural strength, tensile strength and flame retardancy.

The copolycarbonate contains first carbonate units derived from a first bisphenol monomer such that a homopolycarbonate of the first bisphenol monomer has a glass transition temperature less than 155? C., and second carbonate units derived from a second bisphenol monomer such that a homopolycarbonate of the second bisphenol monomer has a glass transition temperature of 155? C. or higher. The roughening agent includes a particulate crosslinked polymethylsilsesquioxane having a median equivalent spherical diameter greater than 5 micrometers and less than or equal to 10 micrometers.
Infrared-Reflecting Optically Transparent Assembly and Method of Making the Same
A method of making an infrared-reflecting optically transparent assembly comprises: coating a curable composition onto a major surface of an optically transparent thermoplastic polymer film; at least partially curing the curable composition, which may be optionally at least partially dried, to provide a thermoformable composite film; and laminating the thermoformable composite film to an infrared-reflecting multilayer optical film to provide the infrared-reflecting optically transparent assembly. The curable composition comprises urethane (meth)acrylate compound, (meth)acrylate monomer, and silicone (meth)acrylate. The infrared-reflecting optically transparent assembly and methods of including it in an infrared-reflecting lens assembly are also disclosed.
