Process of transforming a plastic extrusion system into a dynamic depolymerization
An extrusion process of a manufacturing system for plastic which also serves as a depolymerization reactor through the use of melting point's temperature as activation energy and liquid solvents. The melting point activation energy and liquid solvents are used to generate a certain level of depolymerization at the manufacturing process of any given plastic product. The process includes several variables that are used in determining a final additive that is introduced at the beginning of the extrusion process. The final additive includes a mixture of a liquid solvents, a molecular filler, chemical carriers, and stabilizers.
Mineral wool insulation
Mineral wool insulation products are provided. The mineral wool insulation includes a plurality of mineral wool fibers and a wax emulsion applied to the mineral wool fibers. The wax emulsion imparts excellent water resistance and thermal performance properties to the mineral wool insulation.
Curable Composition and Molded Article Comprising the Composition
There is provided a curable composition comprising (A) a cyclic olefin; (B) a metathesis catalyst for polymerizing the cyclic olefin; (C) 0.1-30 wt. % of a compound comprising at least one vinyl group; and (D) 0.1-10 wt. % of a curing agent for compound (C), wherein the wt. % are relative to the total weight of the composition. The composition provides a desirable combination of workability, toughness and heat resistance. Also provided is a molded article comprising the composition and reinforcing fibers, and a method of manufacturing the same.
RESIN PARTICLES
Resin particles include mother particles containing a biodegradable resin and a plasticizer, in which an amount of a metal element having an ionic valence of 2 or more, obtained by fluorescent X-ray analysis, is 0.002% by mass or more and 2.0% by mass or less with respect to a total amount of the resin particles.
Bituminous composition in the form of granules and method for preparing same
Disclosed is a bituminous composition in the form of granules, each granule including a core and a coating and having a mass for approximately one hundred particles of from 0.5 g to 2 g, the core including from 40 wt. % to 60 wt. % of a binder matrix; from 30 wt. % to 40 wt. % of a polymer; from 4 wt. % to 6 wt. % of a compatibilizing agent; and from 2 wt. % to 15 wt. % of an anti-adhesive filler; and the coating including an anti-sticking agent. The invention relates also to a method for preparing the composition, and to the use thereof in bitumen plants.
Process for manufacturing a thermoformable plasticized composite containing cellulose fiber and a moldable polymer
The present invention concerns a process for manufacturing a thermoformable plasticized composite containing cellulose fiber and polylactide by blending the dry cellulose fiber and a compatibilizer in a compactor into pellets, and subsequently reacting the reactive compatibilizer and the mixture of cellulose fiber and polylactide by compounding. The invention also concerns a composite manufactured using said process, as well as further processed products.
FIBER REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC RESIN MOLDING MATERIAL, AND FIBER REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE
A fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin molding material includes a thermoplastic resin; a resin impregnated reinforcing fiber filament obtained by impregnating reinforcing fibers with a resin having a melt viscosity at 200° C. lower than a melt viscosity of the thermoplastic resin; and a reinforcing fiber modifier having a melt viscosity at 200° C. lower than the melt viscosity of the thermoplastic resin and a difference in solubility parameter value from the thermoplastic resin equal to or larger than 1.0, the molding material including 50 to 98.9 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin; 1 to 40 parts by weight of the reinforcing fiber; 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of the reinforcing fiber modifier; and 0.2 to 12 parts by weight of the resin relative to total 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic resin, the reinforcing fiber, and the reinforcing fiber modifier.
High performance anti-block treatments for viscoelastic solids
Anti-blocking compositions are disclosed that include a wax or mixture of waxes effective to reduce, retard or prevent blocking of a viscoelastic solid when applied to the surface of such a solid. Also disclosed are methods of reducing, retarding or preventing blocking of a viscoelastic solid, and the products of those methods which are viscoelastic solids resistant to blocking.
BIODEGRADABLE RESIN PARTICLE
A biodegradable resin particle, includes: a base particle containing a biodegradable resin; a first layer on a surface of the base particle, the first layer containing at least one cationic resin of a polyalkyleneimine, a polyallylamine and a polyvinylamine; and a second layer on the first layer, the second layer containing an anionic or nonionic hydrophobic compound.
MULTILAYER WATER-DISPERSIBLE ARTICLES
Disclosed herein are multilayer water-dispersible articles including a water-dispersible substrate layer having a thickness in a range of about 5 μm to about 10 mm, and a water-dispersible coating layer on the substrate layer, the coating layer having a thickness in a range of about 0.5 to about 250 μm, wherein water-dispersible article has a moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) of about 20 g H.sub.2O/m.sup.2/day or less, such as 10 g H.sub.2O/m.sup.2/day or less.
