Compositions and methods for removing contaminants from plastics processing equipment
Compositions for removing contaminants from plastics processing equipment are described herein. The compositions may include a polymeric carrier component, an oxidizing agent, an abrasive and/or a gas agent. Methods of preparing the compositions described herein and methods of removing contaminants from plastics processing equipment are also described.

Superabsorbent polymer composition
A superabsorbent polymer composition includes superabsorbent polymer particles, a chelating agent and a mixture of an organic acid and a silicate-based salt. The superabsorbent polymer particles include crosslinked polymer of water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomers including acid groups, of which at least a part are neutralized, and the chelating agent includes EDTA or an alkali metal salt thereof, exhibiting improved antimicrobial and deodorizing properties without deterioration of the superabsorbent polymer properties such as centrifugal retention capacity.
Superabsorbent polymer composition
A superabsorbent polymer composition includes superabsorbent polymer particles, a chelating agent and a mixture of an organic acid and a silicate-based salt. The superabsorbent polymer particles include crosslinked polymer of water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomers including acid groups, of which at least a part are neutralized, and the chelating agent includes EDTA or an alkali metal salt thereof, exhibiting improved antimicrobial and deodorizing properties without deterioration of the superabsorbent polymer properties such as centrifugal retention capacity.

A multicolor dispersion comprising a protective composition and two or more colorant dispersions, wherein the protective composition comprises (1) an aqueous dispersion of polymer particles comprising from 89% to 99.45% by weight, based on the total dry weight of the protective composition, of polymer particles, wherein said aqueous dispersion of polymer particles further comprises from 0.33% to 2% by weight, based on the total dry weight of the polymer, of an anionic stabilizer monomer represented by the following Formula I, ##STR00001##
wherein R.sub.1 is a linkage group between R.sub.2 and a vinyl group, R.sub.2 is ethylene or propene or butylene, n is from 0 to 50, M is a counter salt of potassium, sodium, ammonium or lithium; wherein said aqueous dispersion of polymer particles further comprises from 0.33% to 5% by weight, based on the total dry weight of the polymer, of a non-reactive anionic surfactant having an ethylene oxide chain length of less than 11; and (2) from 0.5% to 10% by weight, based on the total dry weight of the protective composition, of a clay.
Polyolefin-based resin composition for vehicle interior material comprising heat-treated waste coffee grounds
Disclosed is a polyolefin-based resin composition for a vehicle interior material including heat-treated waste coffee grounds. The resin composition includes a polyolefin-based resin, waste coffee grounds including a volatile matter (VM) in an amount less than about 20 wt % of the waste coffee grounds, a modified polypropylene, an inorganic filler, and a thermoplastic elastomer.
Polyolefin-based resin composition for vehicle interior material comprising heat-treated waste coffee grounds
Disclosed is a polyolefin-based resin composition for a vehicle interior material including heat-treated waste coffee grounds. The resin composition includes a polyolefin-based resin, waste coffee grounds including a volatile matter (VM) in an amount less than about 20 wt % of the waste coffee grounds, a modified polypropylene, an inorganic filler, and a thermoplastic elastomer.
Inner Liner with Improved Permeability Properties
An inner liner for an elastomeric articles is provided. The inner liner contains platy mineral particles having a mean aspect ratio of less than three, where at least about 30% or more of the platy mineral particles have an aspect ratio of 2 or greater. Furthermore, an inflatable article, such as a tire, that includes an inner liner containing the platy mineral particles, is also provided.
HETEROPHASIC PROPYLENE COPOLYMER COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a polymer composition comprising a first heterophasic propylene copolymer, a high density polyethylene, a second heterophasic propylene copolymer an inorganic filler and optionally a polyolefin based elastomer. The present invention further relates to a process for the preparation of said polymer composition. The present invention further relates to an article comprising such polymer composition. The polymer composition has high impact resistance and a good balance between impact resistance and warpage.
