A POLYAMIDE OR FLUOROPOLYMER COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND METHOD OF ITS PREPARATION
The present invention provides a composite material comprising of a polyamide material including PA66, and/or a fluoropolymer material including polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), glass fibers, additives and pigments and method of its preparation by compounding extrusion or injection moulding processes. The composite material sustains the high heat generated due to spark in the electrical circuit, has lowest coefficient of friction (COF) so that the socket shutter provides smooth operation of inserting and removing the plug, has very low cycle time in injection moulding process ensuring high productivity and provides custom made colours required for aesthetic purpose.

FORMED BODY HAVING EXCELLENT GAS-BARRIER PROPERTY
A formed body made from a resin and having a wall portion, the wall portion containing, as an oxygen-absorbing component, a non-polymeric oxygen-absorbing organic component in an amount of 0.5 to 2.5% by mass, and having a ratio of oxygen permeation rates expressed by the following formula that is suppressed to be not more than 42%:

wherein P is an oxygen permeation rate (cc) through the wall portion, and P.sub.0 is an oxygen permeation rate (cc) through the wall portion of the same thickness but without containing the oxygen-absorbing component.

An oxygen-absorbing resin composition containing an ethylene terephthalate type polyester resin and an organic oxygen absorber and, further, containing cobalt in an amount of 5 to 50 ppm and titanium in an amount of 1 to 15 ppm calculated as elements.
Resin Composition, Molded Body, And Their Application
Provided are a resin composition having excellent oxygen barrier property under high humidity as a novel resin material, a molded body, a method for producing a molded body, and a method for producing a pellet using the resin composition. The resin composition includes a resin component and a plate-shaped talc having an aspect ratio of more than 18, 80 mass % of the resin component comprising a barrier resin having an oxygen transmission coefficient of 5.0 cc.Math.mm/(m.sup.2.Math.day.Math.atm) or less as measured according to ASTM D3985 at a relative humidity of 60% and a temperature of 23? C., and a content of the plate-shaped talc being from 3.0 to 55.0 mass % when a total of the barrier resin and the plate-shaped talc is 100 mass %.
