HIGH PERFORMANCE COATINGS FOR BUILDING PANELS
The present invention is directed to dirt and anti-microbial resistant compositions and articles that include a powder coating composition formed from a precursor comprising polymeric binder resin, cross-linker, and a blend of liquid carrier and anionic fluorosurfactant. The powder coating may be formed using a liquid-based anionic fluorosurfactant wherein the solids content of the anionic fluorosurfactant within the precursor is from about 13 wt. % to about 28 wt. %.
Elastomer composites with high dielectric constant
Elastomer compositions with high dielectric constants are disclosed. Embodiments of the disclosure include a high dielectric constant (high-K) elastomeric composition comprising an elastomer, carbon black (CB), and organoclay (OC). The composition is not dependent on any raw material with inherent high-k or any metal oxide type material that changes conductivity with applied voltages. The composition instead uses distributed electric fields and polarizability with carbon black and organoclays. This allows for a high-k material through polarizability with limited large-scale electron sharing.
POLYAMIDE COMPOSITION CONTAINING FLAT GLASS FIBRES (B) WITH IMPROVED FATIGUE RESISTANCE
Described herein is a polyamide composition (P) including specific flat glass fibres (B) with elongated shape having a non-circular cross-sectional area. The polyamide composition (P) is advantageously used for the production of molded parts. Also described herein is a method of using molded parts obtainable by molding of the polyamide composition (P) to produce mechanical parts. The molded parts are characterized by having improved fatigue resistance properties. Also described herein is a polyamide composition (P) including PA 6.6 as polyamide (A) and flat glass fibres (B).
COATING COMPOSITION, COATED ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR FORMING MULTILAYER COATING FILM
A coating composition includes a binder component (A), a flake-like aluminum pigment (B) having an average particle diameter (d50) of 18 μm to 25 μm, and a flake-like pigment (C) being a flake-like pigment other than flake-like aluminum pigments and having an average particle diameter (d50) of 8 μm to 30 μm. A content of the flake-like aluminum pigment (B) is 10 parts by mass to 50 parts by mass and a content of the flake-like pigment (C) is 0.5 parts by mass to 10 parts by mass, based on 100 parts by mass of the binder component (A). A content ratio (B)/(C) of the flake-like aluminum pigment (B) to the flake-like pigment (C) is 2/1 to 50/1 in terms of a solid content mass ratio.

SOLID DRY-TYPE LUBRICANT
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a dry-type lubricant for use in a dry product hopper to help improve dry product flow and to improve anti jamming properties of the dry product. The example lubricant can comprise a hydrophilic fiber, such as cellulose, having a width to length aspect ratio that provides a thin fiber. A plurality of hydrophobic particles are deposited on the surface of the fiber, resulting in a fiber surface exhibiting amphiphobic properties. Further, the fiber can operably absorb water, and then releases the absorbed water to the surface of the fiber under mechanical stress, such as when mixed with a product in a hopper. This can result in the water being disposed on the surface of the fiber, to provide lubrication to a product in a hopper to improve flow and anti jamming characteristics of the product in the hopper.
