REINFORCING MATERIAL AND RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE
A reinforcing material is disclosed that includes coated glass flakes and coated glass strands. When the total amount of a glycidyl group-including resin and aminosilane contained in the coatings of the coated glass flakes corresponds to 100% by mass, the amount of the resin is 30% to 95% by mass. When the total amount of a glycidyl group-including resin, aminosilane, and a urethane resin contained in the coatings of the coated glass strands corresponds to 100% by mass, the amount of the glycidyl group-including resin is 10% to 90% by mass, the amount of the aminosilane is 0.1% to 40% by mass, and the amount of the urethane resin is 1% to 50% by mass. Both the coated glass flakes and the coated glass strands have an ignition loss of 0.1% to 2.0% by mass measured pursuant to JIS R3420 (2013).
COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A composite material according to the present invention includes a solid portion including inorganic particles and a resin. The composite material has a porous structure including a plurality of voids surrounded by the solid portion. The composite material compressed by 10% has a reaction force of 0.1 kPa to 1000 kPa, and the composite material has a heat conductivity of 0.5 W/(m.Math.K) or more. The heat conductivity is a value measured for one test specimen in a symmetric configuration according to an American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standard (ASTM) D5470-01.
ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE PASTE
An electrically conductive paste includes: an elastic binder; and a conductive filler. The conductive filler includes: at least one spherical conductive filler, at least one plate-like conductive filler, and at least one rod-like conductive filler. In an embodiment, the spherical filler has a mean particle diameter, measured in accordance with ISO 21501-2:2019-11 of at most 200 μm.
Moisture-curable adhesive composition and a method for mounting tiles on wall surfaces
A moisture-curable adhesive composition comprises a polymer component selected from a silane-terminated polyalkylene oxide and/or a polyurethane; a plurality of amino-silane modified wollastonite fibers having an average aspect ratio of from about 1.5:1 to about 12:1 and an average fiber length of from about 6 μm to about 825 μm; at least two fillers, wherein one of said fillers is untreated and a second of said fillers is treated with a modifier selected from the group consisting of a fatty acid derivative, a silane, a titanate, and mixtures thereof wherein at least one of said fillers is irregularly shaped; and a rheology modifier. The composition preferably further comprises a plurality of irregularly-shaped crumb rubber particles having an average particle size of between about 0.5 to 1.5 mm. The composition is useful for adhering tiles to surfaces, especially large format tiles to substantially vertically-extending wall surfaces.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT
An object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of reducing the hydrolysis of a biodegradable resin at the time of molding with respect to a biodegradable resin-containing resin composition having a high water content. Provided is a resin composition comprising: a biodegradable resin and heavy calcium carbonate particles in a mass ratio of 50:50 to 10:90, in which 0.5% by mass or more and 3.5% by mass or less of calcium oxide is comprised relative to the resin composition, and 0.2% by mass or more of water is comprised relative to the resin composition.
