A latex composition for dip molding having an excellent flow mark property and syneresis property and being capable of providing a molded article having excellent tensile properties and texture is provided. A method of preparing the latex composition, and a dip-molded article produced using the latex composition are also provided.
PRODUCTION METHOD FOR MEDICAL BALLOON
This application relates to a production method for a medical balloon that can suppress the occurrence of the symptom of delayed-type allergy (Type IV) in addition to immediate-type allergy (Type I). The production method includes molding a composition containing a carboxy-modified conjugated diene polymer, a vulcanizing agent, and a xanthogen compound into the shape of a balloon. The molding of the composition into the shape of a balloon includes dipping a balloon-shaped mold in the composition in the form of latex.

POLYMER LATEX
The present invention relates to a polymer latex comprising: (A) particles of a latex polymer (A) obtainable by free-radical emulsion polymerization of a mixture of ethylenically unsaturated monomers the latex polymer comprising a plurality of functional groups (x); and (B) a compound bearing a beta-hydroxy ester linkage and at least one additional functional group (y) reactive with the functional groups (x) on latex polymer (A),to a method for preparation of said polymer latex, to its use, to a method for dip-molding and to articles obtained from the latex.
MULTI-STAGE LATEX PARTICLES WITH PEG IN OUTER STAGE
Disclosed herein is an aqueous latex composition comprising a substantially acrylic core-shell latex, wherein a water-retaining monomer is copolymerized to the shell. The Tg of the core ranges from about 0° C. to about 12° C., and the Tg of the shell ranges from about 13° C. to about 40° C. The mean volume average particle size of the latex ranges from about 125 nm to about 200 nm. The core-shell latex comprises at least one acrylic monomer having a solubility that ranges about 10 g/L to about 30 g/L at 30° C., and this at least one acrylic monomer is present in the shell polymer in an amount greater than about 50 wt. % of all monomers in the shell. Preferably, the at least one acrylic monomer is methyl methacrylate.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING HOLLOW RESIN PARTICLES
The method produces hollow resin particles. The method comprising steps of: preparing a mixture liquid comprising (A) a monomer comprising at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of a monovinyl monomer and a hydrophilic monomer excluding acrylonitrile and methacrylonitrile, (B) a crosslinkable monomer, (C) an oil-soluble polymerization initiator, (E) a hydrocarbon solvent, (F) a suspension stabilizer and (G) an aqueous medium; carrying out a suspension treatment of the mixture liquid to prepare a suspension; carrying out a polymerization reaction of the suspension to prepare a precursor composition; carrying out a solid-liquid separation of the precursor composition to obtain the precursor particles; and removing the hydrocarbon solvent (E) included in the precursor particles.
