Free radically curable dental compositions
The present invention relates to novel free-radically curable dental compositions, comprising chain-like and/or cyclic and/or cage-type polysiloxanes substituted by free-radically polymerizable groups and having at least 3 silicon atoms and/or mixed forms thereof, disiloxanes substituted by free-radically polymerizable groups, optionally one, two, three or more free-radically curable dental monomers having no silicon atom, fillers, initiators and/or catalysts for free-radical polymerization, and also further customary additives, to the cured dental products formed from the dental compositions of the invention, and to the respective use thereof as dental material, especially as flowable filling composites (called “flow materials”), core buildup materials and luting cements. The invention further relates to a method for producing the dental compositions and to a process for producing a respective dental product. Additionally claimed are inventive kits containing the novel free-radically curable dental compositions.
Silylated polybutadiene
The objective of the present invention is to provide a derivative of polybutadiene suitable as a material of a curable composition for obtaining a cured product having high shearing stress. The present invention provides: a silylated polybutadiene characterized by containing a repeating unit represented by formula (I) (in the formula: R.sup.1, R.sup.2, and R.sup.3 each independently represents an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group, an alkyl group, or an aralkyl group. Among R.sup.1 to R.sup.3, at least one of R.sup.1 to R.sup.3 is an aryl group or aralkyl group); a curable composition characterized by containing the silylated polybutadiene and a polymerization initiator; and a cured product obtained by curing the curable composition. ##STR00001##
Silylated polybutadiene
The objective of the present invention is to provide a derivative of polybutadiene suitable as a material of a curable composition for obtaining a cured product having high shearing stress. The present invention provides: a silylated polybutadiene characterized by containing a repeating unit represented by formula (I) (in the formula: R.sup.1, R.sup.2, and R.sup.3 each independently represents an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group, an alkyl group, or an aralkyl group. ANTIFOULING COATING COMPOSITION, ANTIFOULING COATING FILM FORMED USING SAID COMPOSITION, AND COATED ARTICLE HAVING ANTIFOULING COATING FILM ON SURFACE
The present invention provides antifouling coating compositions having excellent long-term storage stability and provides an antifouling coating composition that can maintain the stable dissolution and antifouling performance of a coating film without causing coating film defects such as cracks in seawater for a long term, such that an antifouling coating film having increased environmental safety can be formed. The present invention provides an antifouling coating composition containing: (A) a triorganosilyl ester-containing copolymer obtained from a mixture of (a) a triorganosilyl (meth)acrylate monomer represented by general formula (1):

(here, R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and R.sup.2, R.sup.3, and R.sup.4 are the same or different from each other and each represents a C.sub.3-6 alkyl group branched at the α-position or a phenyl group) and (b) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable with the triorganosilyl (meth)acrylate monomer; and (B) calcium sulfate hydrate.
ANTIFOULING COATING COMPOSITION, ANTIFOULING COATING FILM FORMED USING SAID COMPOSITION, AND COATED ARTICLE HAVING ANTIFOULING COATING FILM ON SURFACE

Use of free radically curable compositions in additive manufacturing methods
The present invention relates to the use of free-radically curable compositions, comprising chain-like and/or cyclic and/or cage-type polysiloxanes substituted by free-radically polymerizable groups and having at least 3 silicon atoms and/or mixed forms thereof, disiloxanes substituted by free-radically polymerizable groups, optionally one, two, three or more free-radically curable monomers having no silicon atom, fillers, initiators and/or catalysts for free-radical polymerization, and also further customary additives, in additive manufacturing methods, preferably in stereolithography (SL) and digital light processing (DLP). The present invention further relates to the use of the cured free-radically curable compositions, preferably for production of dental products.

Tread rubber composition and pneumatic tire

Thermoplastic resin composition and molded article made using the same
A thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) a polycarbonate resin; (B) a rubber-modified aromatic vinyl copolymer; (C) a branched copolymer that includes a silicon compound having two or more unsaturated radicals; and (D) metal particles. A molded product can be prepared using the composition.
