An object of the present invention is to provide a golf club grip having excellent abrasion resistance and a high coefficient of friction. The present invention provides a golf club grip comprising an outermost layer, wherein at least a part of the outermost layer is formed from a rubber composition containing (A) a base rubber and (B) carbon black, (B) the carbon black has a DBP absorption amount in a range from 50 cm.sup.3/100 g to 140 cm.sup.3/100 g and a CTAB specific surface area in a range from 30 m.sup.2/g to 160 m.sup.2/g, a product (amountDBP absorption amount) obtained by multiplying an amount (g) of (B) the carbon black in the rubber composition with respect to 100 g of (A) the base rubber by the DBP absorption amount (cm.sup.3/100 g) ranges from 380 to 2600, a product (amountCTAB specific surface area) obtained by multiplying the amount (g) of (B) the carbon black in the rubber composition with respect to 100 g of (A) the base rubber by the CTAB specific surface area (m.sup.2/g) ranges from 425 to 3000, and the part formed from the rubber composition has tan (30 C., 10 Hz) in a range from 0.100 to 0.280.

Included is a motorcycle tire having a tread portion including a tread rubber, the tread rubber being divided into at least three parts in the tire width direction, the tread rubber including a center rubber at its center, viewed in the tire width direction, and shoulder rubbers respectively on opposite sides of the center rubber, viewed in the tire width direction, the center rubber being formed of a center rubber composition containing predetermined amounts of a rubber component with a predetermined styrene-butadiene rubber content, silica, carbon black, and a resin, the shoulder rubbers each being formed of a shoulder rubber composition containing predetermined amounts of a rubber component with a predetermined styrene-butadiene rubber content, silica, carbon black, and a resin.

LOW COMPRESSION SET THERMOPLASTIC GEL AND CABLE GEL SEAL ARRANGEMENT
Disclosed herein are various cable gel seal arrangements and thermoplastic gels useful therein. The thermoplastic gels are prepared from a composition including a styrene triblock copolymer, a styrene diblock copolymer, an oil extender, and an additive selected from poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide), a C9 resin, poly(alpha-methylstyrene), a coumarone-indene resin, and combinations thereof, wherein the additive has a T.sub.g from about 95 C. to about 200 C. The thermoplastic gels advantageously exhibit low compression set.
LOW COMPRESSION SET THERMOPLASTIC GEL AND CABLE GEL SEAL ARRANGEMENT
Disclosed herein are various cable gel seal arrangements and thermoplastic gels useful therein. The thermoplastic gels are prepared from a composition including a styrene triblock copolymer, a styrene diblock copolymer, an oil extender, and an additive selected from poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide), a C9 resin, poly(alpha-methylstyrene), a coumarone-indene resin, and combinations thereof, wherein the additive has a T.sub.g from about 95 C. to about 200 C. The thermoplastic gels advantageously exhibit low compression set.
Rubber composition for tread and tire
The rubber composition for a tread comprises: 5 to 30 parts by mass of a carbon black, 95 parts by mass or more of silica, 25 parts by mass or more of a powder of an inorganic compound represented by a given formula (A) and having an average primary particle size of 10 m or less, and 70 parts by mass or more of a softening agent comprising 2 to 15 parts by mass of a coumarone-based resin, based on 100 parts by mass of a rubber component comprising 70% by mass or more of a styrene-butadiene rubber having a styrene content of from 20 to 50% by mass and a vinyl content of from 15 to 65%, and the tire has a tread composed of the rubber composition for a tread.
Rubber composition for tread and tire
The rubber composition for a tread comprises: 5 to 30 parts by mass of a carbon black, 95 parts by mass or more of silica, 25 parts by mass or more of a powder of an inorganic compound represented by a given formula (A) and having an average primary particle size of 10 m or less, and 70 parts by mass or more of a softening agent comprising 2 to 15 parts by mass of a coumarone-based resin, based on 100 parts by mass of a rubber component comprising 70% by mass or more of a styrene-butadiene rubber having a styrene content of from 20 to 50% by mass and a vinyl content of from 15 to 65%, and the tire has a tread composed of the rubber composition for a tread.
