RUBBER COMPOUNDING INGREDIENT AND RUBBER COMPOSITION
A rubber compounding ingredient containing (A) a compound having a blocked isocyanate group and a hydrolyzable silyl group, such as an organosilicon compound having the following formula (1):

wherein R.sup.1 is each independently an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, L is a divalent linking group, X is —O— or —NR.sup.2—, Z is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic group, R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, or a group capable of bonding to Z to form a ring structure, and m is an integer of 1 to 3.
RUBBER COMPOUNDING INGREDIENT AND RUBBER COMPOSITION

RUBBER COMPOSITION AND TIRE
The present invention is directed to a rubber composition comprising 70 phr to 100 phr of at least one styrene butadiene rubber, 0 phr to 30 phr of at least one further diene-based rubber, from 40 phr to 200 phr of at least one filler, at least 5 phr of aluminum hydroxide, and at least 0.5 phr of a rosin based resin. Moreover, the present invention is directed to a tire comprising such a rubber composition.
RUBBER COMPOSITION AND TIRE
The present invention is directed to a rubber composition comprising 70 phr to 100 phr of at least one styrene butadiene rubber, 0 phr to 30 phr of at least one further diene-based rubber, from 40 phr to 200 phr of at least one filler, at least 5 phr of aluminum hydroxide, and at least 0.5 phr of a rosin based resin. Moreover, the present invention is directed to a tire comprising such a rubber composition.

Provided is a pneumatic tire having both improved run-flat durability and excellent wet grip properties; the pneumatic tire including a rubber composition used in a tread part, and a rubber support layer having a gauge thickness in a specified range; the rubber composition including specified compounded amounts of natural rubber, a terminal-modified styrene-butadiene rubber, silica, and a thermoplastic resin, wherein the rubber composition is largely strain-dependent for the storage elastic modulus.

Provided is a pneumatic tire having both improved run-flat durability and excellent wet grip properties; the pneumatic tire including a rubber composition used in a tread part, and a rubber support layer having a gauge thickness in a specified range; the rubber composition including specified compounded amounts of natural rubber, a terminal-modified styrene-butadiene rubber, silica, and a thermoplastic resin, wherein the rubber composition is largely strain-dependent for the storage elastic modulus.
Packaging adhesives comprising low volatile tackifier compositions
A tackifier composition comprising at least one thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin and an antioxidant composition is provided; wherein a portion of the volatile organic compounds in the thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin has been removed; wherein the antioxidant composition comprises at least one primary antioxidant and at least one secondary antioxidant; and wherein the levels of individual volatile organic compound monitored in the tackifier composition are less than about 0.5 ppm as measured by GC/MS headspace analysis. Processes for producing the tackifier composition are also provided as well as adhesives comprising the tackifier compositions.
Packaging adhesives comprising low volatile tackifier compositions
A tackifier composition comprising at least one thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin and an antioxidant composition is provided; wherein a portion of the volatile organic compounds in the thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin has been removed; wherein the antioxidant composition comprises at least one primary antioxidant and at least one secondary antioxidant; and wherein the levels of individual volatile organic compound monitored in the tackifier composition are less than about 0.5 ppm as measured by GC/MS headspace analysis. Processes for producing the tackifier composition are also provided as well as adhesives comprising the tackifier compositions.
Functionalized Polymers Tread Additive To Improve Tire Performance For All-Season Tread Containing High Polybutadiene Level
An elastomeric composition is disclosed. The elastomeric composition includes, per 100 parts by weight of rubber (phr): about 60 to about 100 phr of polybutadiene having a cis-1,4 linkage content of at least 95%; about 5 to 40 phr of a styrene/butadiene copolymer; a curative agent; an antioxidant; about 50 to about 80 phr hydrocarbon resin; about 100 to about 140 phr silica; about 1 to about 20 phr silane coupling agent and about 5 to about 30 phr of a polymer selected from the group consisting of ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer, butyl rubber, poly(isobutylene-co-para-methylstyrene) and poly(isobutylene-co-para-methyl-styrene-co-isoprene) terpolymer. The polymer based on ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer, butyl rubber, poly(isobutylene-co-para-methylstyrene) and poly(isobutylene-co-para-methylstyrene-co-isoprene) terpolymer may be functionalized.
Functionalized Polymers Tread Additive To Improve Tire Performance For All-Season Tread Containing High Polybutadiene Level
An elastomeric composition is disclosed. The elastomeric composition includes, per 100 parts by weight of rubber (phr): about 60 to about 100 phr of polybutadiene having a cis-1,4 linkage content of at least 95%; about 5 to 40 phr of a styrene/butadiene copolymer; a curative agent; an antioxidant; about 50 to about 80 phr hydrocarbon resin; about 100 to about 140 phr silica; about 1 to about 20 phr silane coupling agent and about 5 to about 30 phr of a polymer selected from the group consisting of ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer, butyl rubber, poly(isobutylene-co-para-methylstyrene) and poly(isobutylene-co-para-methyl-styrene-co-isoprene) terpolymer. The polymer based on ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer, butyl rubber, poly(isobutylene-co-para-methylstyrene) and poly(isobutylene-co-para-methylstyrene-co-isoprene) terpolymer may be functionalized.
