TOURNIQUET CLIP
A clip adapted for use with an elongate strap for forming a tourniquet including first and second parts adapted to be connected to the strap, the first and second parts adapted to be releasably connected together to form a closed loop. The second part is adapted to movable along the strap and has an open passageway through which the strap passes. Integrally formed first and second elongate walls define at least part of the passageway and first and second grip portions for gripping the strap. The second wall is mounted for rotation about a transverse axis so as to move the grip portion of the second wall toward or away from the first grip portion.
BELT BUCKLE
A buckle according to the present invention has two opposing ends that are removably attached to each other using a locking system. On one end of the buckle, the locking system includes two opposing locking pins coupled to a spring that is fully enclosed and protected from external elements. On the other end, corresponding rivets or pin casings with plungers are operable to receive the locking pins and lock the two ends together or push the pins out of the casings to release the buckle. The buckle may also include a plug that is removably attached to the adjustable loop end and allows the central bar of the adjustable loop end to be removed without deforming the central bar. Alternatively, each end of the buckle may include self-aligning tabs that guide the ends of the buckle for fastening and aid in the stability of the buckle.

LEVER RELEASE MID-BELT ADJUSTER
A belt adjuster configured to secure a belt of a child car seat. The belt is squeezed and/or compressed between a belt bar and a frame to prevent movement of the belt. The belt adjuster includes a trigger configured to function as a lever. In one example, the lever extends from a belt bar to the trigger, such that force applied to the trigger actuates the belt bar. The lever is configured to multiply a force applied to the trigger to reduce the force needed to release the belt. In one embodiment, a force vector applied to the trigger is in a parallel and opposite direction from a force vector of the belt bar. In another embodiment, a force vector applied to the trigger is in a parallel and/or transverse direction from a force vector of the belt bar.
