Clamp for adjustably joining the ends of a strap
A clamp for adjustably joining the ends of a strap having ends. The clamp has top and bottom members, and at least one of the top and bottom members has a groove extending from one side to the other side of the clamp. The groove receives the ends of the strap so first portions of the ends of the strap are within the groove and at least one other second portion of the strap extends outward from the sides of the clamp. Complementary aligning portions are located on the top and bottom members to align the top and bottom members to capture the first portions of the ends of the strap by friction within the groove formed within the clamp. The length of the strap is adjusted by the second portion of the strap that extend outward from the sides of the clamp.
Safety belt device in a motor vehicle
A belt fitting for a safety belt device in a motor vehicle, the fitting having a base portion and an adjoining insertion tongue, in which base portion a belt eye is provided, through which a belt strap is guided and which subdivides the belt strap into a shoulder belt portion and a lap belt portion when the belt is fastened, and additionally having a clamping element that is freely movable between a release position, in which the belt strap is run freely movably through the belt eye, and a clamping position in which the belt strap is clamped tightly with a clamping force between the clamping element and a clamping stop. According to the invention, the clamping element and/or the clamping stop has a clamping contour, with which the belt strap can be clamped tightly in the clamping position over a belt strap width in a non-linear and/or uneven clamping force distribution.

Ratchet belt system and related accessories
A ratchet belt system includes a belt having a notch strip extending along a portion of the length thereof. The notch strip is formed of a plurality of adjacent notches, each being configured to engage a ratcheting tab of an associated buckle. The belt is configured with a first belt layer, a second belt layer, and a monolithic insert disposed between the first and second layers. The belt with monolithic insert can be configured for use with a gun holster.
BELT BUCKLE ASSEMBLY AND WEIGHTLIFTING BELT
The present invention discloses a belt buckle assembly and a weightlifting belt, and belongs to the technical field of belts. The belt buckle assembly according to the present invention comprises a belt buckle base plate, a pin shaft member, a ratchet wheel and a handle ratchet which fit each other, and a swing handle housing, wherein the swing handle housing is rotatably mounted on the belt buckle base plate through the pin shaft member; the handle ratchet is rotatably supported and mounted on the swing handle housing; the ratchet wheel is provided with a center hole and is sleeved on the pin shaft member through the center hole; and the ratchet wheel is provided with an unlocking slot. The belt buckle assembly further comprises a ratchet wheel unlocking mechanism, wherein the ratchet wheel unlocking mechanism comprises an unlocking assembly, which can move axially or radially along the pin shaft member.
EXTREMITY TOURNIQUET WITH LOCKING BUCKLE
A tourniquet for application to a patient's limb in an emergency situation, and a method for its application. The tourniquet includes a tension-sensing mechanism used to establish a baseline tension in a loop around an injured limb, and a tension-increasing mechanism to reduce the circumference of the loop and tighten the tourniquet as required beyond the baseline tension. The tension-sensing mechanism may be incorporated in a buckle in which when sufficient tension is developed in the loop a pin protrudes to engage and maintain tension in a strap member which is part of the loop. A latch may be incorporated in the buckle to keep it in a condition in which the pin protrudes to engage the strap and maintain the baseline tension. A release tab operable to release the latch is located where it is protected against inadvertent operation.
Cable lacing tie devices and methods of using the same
Cable lacing tie devices and methods of using the same are disclosed. The cable lacing tie devices include a head assembly and a cable lacing tape. The head assembly being configured to retain a first portion of the cable lacing tape within the head assembly and having a length of the cable lacing tape extending from the head assembly. The head assembly further adapted to retain a second portion of the cable lacing tape extending from the head assembly. The methods of using the cable lacing tie devices to hold together a plurality of objects with a cable lacing tie device include retaining a first portion of a cable lacing tape in a head assembly, looping the cable lacing tape around the plurality of objects and retaining a second portion of the cable lacing tape within the head assembly.
