Fire-stopping product
A fire-stopping material for use in sandwich panels is provided, wherein the fire-stopping material comprises a resilient, porous material at least partially impregnated with an intumescent agent. A panel for an internal wall and an internal wall are also provided, comprising the fire-stopping material disposed between two substantially parallel boards, such as plaster boards. A method of providing a service penetration through an internal wall is also provided.
Resin powder material, laser powder molding method and device
A resin powder material comprising copolymerized polybutylene terephthalate resin powder and an inorganic substance, for example, fumed silica, having an average primary particle diameter of 100 nm or less in an amount up to 1.0 wt %. The polybutylene terephthalate resin comprises from 5 mol % to 15 mol % of Isophthalic acid and has powder with average particles diameter of 79 μm and a maximum particles diameter of 106 μm. Powder is obtained by grinding pellets of the copolymerized polybutylene terephthalate resin having a viscosity of 0.85 to 1.0 dl/g. Polyester film comprising a polymeric phosphonate flame retardant
A polyester film comprising a polymeric phosphonate flame retardant in an amount of from about 1.0 to about 25.0 wt % by total weight of the film and further comprising at least one metal cation selected from the group consisting of Group I and Group II metal cations.
Ink jet composition and flameproofing method
An ink jet composition according to the present disclosure contains a flameproofing agent and resin particles. The resin particles are preferably urethanic resin particles. It is preferable that a urethanic resin making up the urethanic resin particles is a urethanic resin containing a crosslinking group and the crosslinking group is one or more selected from the group consisting of a blocked isocyanate group and a silanol group. The urethanic resin making up the urethanic resin particles preferably has a polycarbonate skeleton.
Communication cable and wire harness
A communication cable includes an insulated wire including a conductor and a covering layer covering the conductor, the covering layer being made of an insulator, and a sheath covering an outer circumferential surface of the insulated wire, the sheath including a resin composition containing a polyolefin and a thermoplastic elastomer. A tensile modulus of elasticity of the sheath is 500 MPa or less, and a mass increase rate of the sheath is less than 50% by mass when the sheath is immersed in a diisononyl phthalate at 100° C. for 72 hours.

Thermal conductive bobbin, for a magnetic power unit, made of an injectable and polymerizable thermoplastic composition having a plastic polymer in an amount of between 5% and 15% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition, an aluminium nanoparticles dispersion in mineral oil in an amount of between 25% and 55% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition, silicon carbide microparticles between 20% and 45% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition; and additives up to 10% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition, and wherein the thermal conductive bobbin has a dielectric rigidity higher than 5 kV/mm.
TRANSPARENT, FLAME-RETARDANT HIGH-HEAT POLYCARBONATE COMPOSITIONS FOR THIN WALL APPLICATIONS
A flame retardant composition comprising: 45.0-99.9 wt % of a high heat copolycarbonate comprising high heat carbonate units derived from high heat bisphenol monomers, and optionally comprising low heat carbonate units, wherein a homopolycarbonate of the low heat carbonate units has a glass transition temperature of up to 150° C. as determined by differential scanning calorimetry as per ASTM D3418 with heating rate of 20° C./min; 0-55 wt % of a homopolycarbonate; 0.1-0.8 wt % of a Ci-i6 alkyl sulfonate salt flame retardant; each based on the total weight of the flame retardant composition wherein a molded sample of the flame retardant composition has a UL 94 rating of V0 at a thickness of 1.5 millimeter, and a transmission of greater than 80%, 85%, or 88% or a haze of less than 2%, or 1%, each of the transmission and haze was determined according ASTM D1003 at a thickness of 1.0 millimeter.
NON-HALOGENATED FLAME RETARDANT COPOLYESTER COMPOSITIONS
The present invention relates to the combination of certain halogen- free flame retardant additives in a copolyester to improve the flame retardant properties of the copolyester composition while retaining clarity and impact properties, methods of making the copolyester composition and articles made from the copolyester compositions. More specifically, the present invention relates to the use of oligomeric phosphate ester flame retardant compounds in copolyester compositions to improve the flame retardant properties while retaining clarity, glass transition temperature, and impact properties.
HALOGEN FREE FLAME RETARDANT POLYMERIC COMPOSITIONS
A polymeric composition including in weight percent of the polymeric composition: (a) 10 wt % to 30 wt % of a polyolefin elastomer; (b) 1 wt % to 20 wt % of a polypropylene-based polymer; (c) greater than 1 wt % to 20 wt % of a crystalline block composite; (d) 1 wt % to 10 wt % of a maleated polyolefin elastomer; and (e) 40 wt % to 80 wt % of a halogen free flame-retardant filler.
