The present invention generally relates to inherently wettable silicone hydrogel contact lenses having relatively high oxygen permeability, relatively high equilibrium water content and relatively low elastic modulus. The present invention is also related to a method for making such inherently wettable silicone hydrogel contact lenses.
Flexible transparent material
A flexible transparent material is provided. The flexible transparent material includes a thermoplastic and a plurality of micelles dispersed in the thermoplastic. Each micelle includes a plurality of cross-linked rubber particles and a swelling liquid. The weight ratio of the thermoplastic to the total weight of the cross-linked rubber particles is from 1:5 to 4:5. The weight ratio of the swelling liquid to the total weight of the cross-linked rubber particles is from 1:5 to 2:1.

Provided is a polycarbonate composition comprising a polycarbonate and a light blocking agent, and an optical product formed therefrom. The polycarbonate composition has a low yellow index, unlike conventional yellowish blue light-blocking products, and thus various colors can be implemented. Accordingly, it is possible to provide optical products with various colors, and the polycarbonate composition is very suitable for spectacles required to have high transparency and to block blue light that is harmful to eyes.

Object: To provide a resin composition having excellent oxygen barrier properties and transparency, and high tensile elongation at break; a molded article, a film, and a multilayer film. Resolution means: A resin composition including from 20 to 80 parts by mass of a polyamide resin (A) and from 80 to 20 parts by mass of a polyamide resin (B); wherein more than 35 mol % of all the constituent units of the polyamide resin (A) are constituent units including an alkylene chain having from 2 to 6 carbons; the polyamide resin (B) includes constituent units derived from a diamine and constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid, wherein 70 mol % or more of the constituent units derived from a diamine are derived from a xylylenediamine; from 30 to 70 mol % of the constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid are derived from an α,ω-linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having from 4 to 8 carbons; from 70 to 30 mol % of the constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid are derived from isophthalic acid, with the proviso that the total does not exceed 100 mol %; and the polyamide resin (B) further includes phosphorus atoms in a ratio of 3 to 300 mass ppm, and calcium atoms so as to be the ratio that phosphorus atoms:calcium atoms of 1:0.3 to 0.7.

A polyimide film and a flexible display device cover substrate using the same are provided, and the polyimide film includes a polyimide and a blue infrared absorbing agent. The blue infrared absorbing agent includes cesium tungsten oxide, tungsten oxide, Prussian blue, or antimony tin oxide. The blue infrared absorbing agent has infrared absorbing and photothermal conversion effects, and the surface temperature of the polyimide resin may be increased by infrared irradiation, so as to shorten the baking time.
POLYIMIDE FILM PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
Provided are a polyimide film, preparation method, and application thereof. The polyimide film is a colorless transparent film with low thermal expansion. The polyimide film is obtained by taking a mixture of rigid aromatic diamine and fluorine-containing aromatic diamine, a mixture of rigid aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydride and fluorine-containing aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydride as raw materials, mixing the raw materials to obtain a resin solution, and then conducting imidizing and post-treating. The polyimide film not only has excellent transparency, but also has the advantages of low thermal expansion, high modulus, high glass transition temperature, and so on, and can be well applied to a flexible optoelectronic display substrate, a flexible printed circuit board, or an electronic packaging substrate.
Dual component LLDPE copolymers with improved impact and tear resistance
Disclosed are ethylene polymer compositions containing a homogeneously-branched first ethylene polymer component and a homogeneously-branched second ethylene polymer component of higher density than the first ethylene polymer component. The ethylene polymer composition can be characterized by a density from 0.912 to 0.925 g/cm.sup.3, a melt index less than 3.5 g/10 min, and a CY-a parameter at 190° C. from 0.25 to 0.65. These polymer compositions have the excellent dart impact strength and optical properties of a metallocene-catalyzed LLDPE, but with improved machine direction tear resistance, and can be used in blown film and other end-use applications.
