The invention extends to a method to produce a foamed bitumen composition by adding a bitumen additive to a bitumen feedstock in a bitumen foaming device to produce the foamed bitumen, and to a method to produce an asphalt mix by adding a bitumen feedstock and a bitumen additive to an aggregate in an asphalt mixer to produce the asphalt mix.

The present invention aims to provide a thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin composition suitable for foam molded product which exhibits light weight, excellent rebound resilience and excellent surface smoothness. The present invention provides a thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin composition for counter-pressure foam molding, containing a thermoplastic polyester elastomer and a thickener, wherein the thermoplastic polyester elastomer is prepared by bonding a hard segment and a soft segment, wherein the hard segment consists of polyester constituted from aromatic dicarboxylic acid and aliphatic and/or alicyclic diol as constituting components, wherein the soft segment is at least one member selected from a group consisting of aliphatic polyether, aliphatic polyester and aliphatic polycarbonate, wherein the thermoplastic polyester elastomer has a soft segment content of 25 to 90% by mass, and wherein a content of the thickener is 0.05 to 4.5 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the thermoplastic polyester elastomer. The present invention also provides a foam molded product that includes a continuous phase formed of the thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin composition.

A flexible foam composition comprising a flexible foam structure comprising a plurality of struts, and a plurality of fibers, where a majority of the fibers are associated with the struts. The fibers may be thermally conductive fibers. The fibers include, but are not necessarily limited to, homopolymer and/or copolymer fibers having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of −50° C. (−58° F.) or greater, carbon fibers, animal-based fibers, plant-based fibers, metal fibers, and combinations thereof. The presence of fibers can impart to the flexible foam composition greater indentation force deflection (IFD), greater static thermal conductivity, improved compression set, improved height retention or durability, and/or a combination of these improvements. The flexible foam composition may be polyurethane foam, latex foam, polyether polyurethane foam, viscoelastic foam, high resilient foam, polyester polyurethane foam, foamed polyethylene, foamed polypropylene, expanded polystyrene, foamed silicone, melamine foam, among others.
