Disclosed is a composition comprising a polycarbonate or engineering resin and a branched polymer which is a reaction product of reactants comprising one or more monoethylenically unsaturated ester monomers, a chain transfer agent in an amount of 0.1 to 10 weight percent, and a crosslinker in an amount of 0.1 to 10 weight percent of a crosslinker, wherein weight percent is based on total amount of reactants, provided the amount of crosslinker in moles is less than the effective amount of chain transfer agent in moles, and articles thereof.

A stretchable electroconductive material includes 100 parts by weight of PEDOT-PSS, 200 parts to 1000 parts by weight of a repair linking agent, 15 parts to 300 parts by weight of an ionic liquid plasticizer, and 15 parts to 200 parts by weight of carbon material particles. The repair linking agent is selected from a group consisting of polyethylene glycol and polyethylene oxide, and any combination thereof. The repair linking agent, the ionic liquid plasticizer, and the carbon material particles are doped in the PEDOT-PSS. A method for manufacturing the stretchable electroconductive material and a device using the stretchable electroconductive material are also provided.

A shaped article comprising a polymer-based resin derived from cellulose, wherein the polymer-based resin has an HDT of at least 95° C., a bio-derived content of at least 20 wt %, a notched izod impact strength of greater than 80 J/m and at least one of the following properties chosen from: flexural modulus of greater than 1900 MPa; a spiral flow length or at least 3.0 cm; a flex creep deflection of less than 12 mm; a transmission of at least 70%; a ΔE value of less than 25; or an L* color of at least 85.

POLYMER COMPOSITION HAVING IMPROVED IMPACT STRENGTH AT LOW TEMPERATURES

A polymer composition includes: (a) a propylene-based polymer having a melt mass-flow rate of ≥5.0 and ≤90.0 g/10 min; and (b) ≥5.0 and ≤30.0 wt %, with regard to the total weight of the polymer composition, of an ethylene-based polymer having: a melt mass-flow rate of 3.0 and ≤30.0 g/10 min; a density of ≥840 and ≤870 kg/m.sup.3; and a content of ≥25.0 and ≤50.0 wt % of moieties derived from 1-octene, with regard to the total weight of the ethylene-based polymer. Such polymer composition demonstrates improved low temperature impact strength, determined as Izod impact strength at −40° C. and/or at −30° C., as well as desirable toughness, determined as tensile modulus, whilst having good flowability in injection moulding and thereby allowing complex, thin-walled objects to be shaped.

Polyethylene glycol-based polymer processing aid masterbatches

Provided herein are polymer compositions and methods of making them, including blending a polymer and a polyethylene glycol (PEG) masterbatch. The PEG masterbatch can include one or more PEGs each having molecular weight less than 40,000 g/mol. The polymer can be a C.sub.2-C.sub.6 olefin homopolymer or a copolymer of two or more C.sub.2-C.sub.20 α-olefins. The PEG masterbatch and resulting polymer composition is preferably free or substantially free of fluorine, including fluoropolymer-based PPAs.
