FIBER-REINFORCED FOAM PARTICLE MOLDED ARTICLE AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention can provide a fiber-reinforced expanded particle molded article having a reinforcing material fused and integrated with the surface of an expanded molded article, wherein the reinforcing material is a fabric or a braided product produced by weaving a linear composite material produced by melting and integrating a thermoplastic fiber comprising a low-melting component fiber and a high-melting component fiber, as two or more threads selected from the group consisting of a warp, a weft and a slant thread, the fiber-reinforced expanded particle molded article exhibiting an excellent reinforcing effect; and a method for economically producing the molded article by in-mold molding with a small number of steps.
Thermoplastic vulcanizate compositions
In an embodiment, a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) composition is provided. The TPV composition includes a thermoplastic polyolefin; and an ethylene based copolymer rubber, wherein the ethylene based copolymer rubber has: a Mw of from 500,000 g/mol to 3,000,000 g/mol, a Mw/Mn of 4.0 or lower, and a g.sub.vis of 0.90 or greater. In another embodiment, a TPV composition includes a thermoplastic phase and an ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer, wherein the thermoplastic vulcanizate composition has: a hardness of from 20 Shore A to 60 Shore D; and a stress relaxation slope of 1 to 5 (l/min) as measured by an Elastocon stress relaxation instrument.
MIXED CATALYST SYSTEMS FOR PRODUCING MULTIMODAL ELASTOMERS
Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to multimodal elastomers produced by olefin polymerization with a mixed catalyst system, specifically, a constrained geometry catalyst and a biphenyl phenol catalyst. The multimodal elastomers may be incorporated as impact modifiers in thermoplastic olefins.
POLYETHYLENE COMPOSITION
A bimodal linear polyethylene composition, products made therefrom, methods of making and using same, and articles containing same.
POLYMER COMPOSITION WITH HIGH FLEXIBILITY AND FLAME RETARDANCY
The invention relates to polymer compositions used for preparing conjunction devices. The conjunction devices comprise one or more elements including a static/moving current medium or communication medium; and a halogen-free polymer composition surrounding the element(s). The polymer composition includes a linear very low density polyethylene (VLDPE) composition and one or more polyolefin-elastomers. In addition, the polymer composition includes a flame retardant filler.

SEALING FILM SUITABLE FOR FOOD PACKAGING AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A sealing film suitable for food packaging is provided, which adopts the following solution. The sealing film comprises, in sequence, a PET layer, a VMPET layer and a PE layer from inside to outside, wherein the PE layer comprises 100-110 parts of PE, 15-20 parts of EVA, 15-20 parts of EAA, 55-60 parts of HDPE and 10-15 parts of LLDPE in parts by mass. In this manner, the addition of HDPE and LLDPE into the PE layer is intended to enhance the tensile strength of the sealing film.
Polyethylene polymer compositions and articles made from the same
A polymer composition comprises a polyethylene polymer and a salt of a branched alkyl phosphonic acid. A polyethylene film having improved barrier to water vapor and oxygen comprises a high-density polyethylene polymer having a density of about 930 kg/m.sup.3 to about 980 kg/m.sup.3 and a salt of a branched alkyl phosphonic acid.
POLYETHYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR INJECTION-MOLDING
Disclosed herein is a resin composition for injection-molding in which an ethylene-based resin is melt-mixed to be excellent in ductile property and impact property, excellent in environmental stress crack resistance, and low in an overall migration, and thus may be widely used as a food and drug container or a stopper. The present invention provides a resin composition for injection-molding formed by melt-mixing 80-90 wt % of a linear low density polyethylene having a melt flow index of 15-30 dg/min (190 C., 2.16 kg) and 10-20 wt % of an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer resin having a melt flow index of 10-20 wt %.
