Low density polyvinyl chloride microparticles
Hollow microparticles of polyvinyl chloride are disclosed, having low volumetric densities useful for reducing mass per unit volume of polymer or inorganic articles and apparatus having such microparticles compounded into thermoplastic or thermoset polymers. A double emulsion polymerization process is also disclosed as the process to produce the hollow microparticles.

A material for triboelectric nanogenerator comprising a biomass-based material co-doped with a hygroscopic agent and a metal salt, wherein: the biomass-based material includes any one of a saccharide-based material; the hygroscopic agent includes any one of a polyol-based compound, a sulfone-based compound, a tetrahydropyran-based, or a isocyanate-based compound; and the metal salt includes any one of a monovalent metal salt, a divalent metal salt or a trivalent metal salt. Use of the material in a triboelectric nanogenerator is also addressed.
TIRE TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION WITH IMPROVED WET BRAKING, WEAR AND SNOW BRAKING PERFORMANCES
The present invention provides a tire tread rubber composition with improved braking performance on wet road surfaces while maintaining snow braking performance in hot-summer or cold-winter area. The tire tread rubber composition may include SBR having excellent low-temperature properties and a hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin to improve wet braking, snow braking and wear performances, and a specific vulcanizing agent to supplement wear/RR performances.
CLEAR BINDER COMPOSITION, AND USES THEREOF FOR ROAD SURFACING AND DEVELOPMENT SURFACING
The present invention relates to the field of transport infrastructures and urban planning and development infrastructures, in particular clear or coloured surfacing containing clear binders. More particularly, the present invention relates to a clear binder composition comprising one or more ethylene and alkyl acrylate copolymers having a melt flow rate greater than 2.5 g/10 min and a melting temperature greater than 85 C.

A composition including a pyrolysis oil and, as an additive, one or more of: (a) an antioxidant; and (b) a stabilising additive selected from (i) alkoxylated amine compounds; (ii) aldehyde-alkylphenol copolymers; (iii) a quaternary ammonium salt, and mixtures thereof. A method and use for improving the stability of a composition including a pyrolysis oil by addition to the composition one or more of said additives is also provided.
Binder and manufacturing methods
A binder for extruded, pelletized, briquetted, or agglomerated material, the binder having a composition including from 80% to 90% in weight of a pyrolysis oil resulting from the pyrolysis of biomass and from 10% to 20% in weight of thermoplastics.
