Buckle

A buckle with an enhanced efficiency in removing a foreign substance is provided. The buckle includes: a plug; and a socket provided with an insertion opening into which the plug is to be inserted. The socket includes: a pair of front pieces disposed side by side in a width direction intersecting with an insertion direction of the plug; a back piece disposed to face each of the front pieces; and a bottom piece that connects each of the front pieces and the back piece. A slit defined between the pair of front pieces extends in the insertion direction from the insertion opening across the bottom piece and the front pieces of the socket. Due to the presence of the slit, a cross section of the socket intersecting with the insertion direction is in a C-shape.

A magnetic buckle including a buckle base assembly and a locking assembly is disclosed. A first magnet and an adjustable lock hole are disposed on buckle base assembly, a lock tongue and a second magnet are disposed on locking assembly, two moving portions are disposed at the buckle base assembly respectively, and two unlocking portions are disposed within the buckle base assembly. When the lock hole is close to the lock tongue, the first magnet attracts the second magnet to guide the lock tongue into the lock hole to achieve locking. When the moving portions are pressed toward each other, the unlocking portions move toward the lock tongue to separate the parts of the lock tongue combined with the buckle base assembly for reducing an attractive force between the first magnet and the second magnet, so as to facilitate separation between the buckle base assembly and the locking assembly.

Quick release buckle

A buckle assembly structured for quick release and including a gripping assembly structured to removably retain an end connector in a locked position. Two locking segments are movably connected to one another and disposable between a closed orientation and a release orientation. The locked position includes the locking segments disposed in gripping engagement with the connector when the connector is disposed between the locking segments. A quick release assembly may be selectively positioned into a separating engagement with the locking segments to at least partially define a positioning thereof from their closed orientation into their release orientation. A secondary release assembly is connected to the gripping assembly and is independently operable to release the connector from the gripping engagement with the locking segments.

A buckle has two identical components relatively shiftable along a central axis into and out of an assembled state, with an interlocking mechanism for releasably coupling the components in their assembled state. The interlocking mechanism includes a wing on each of the components. The wings have opposed mutually spaced resilient panels defining passages therebetween leading to aligned locking surfaces. Each component also has a prong with oppositely protruding posts and first and second cam surfaces. The first cam surfaces are configured and arranged to urge the panels apart and thereby accommodate insertion of the prongs into the passages to locked positions at which the posts are in snap engagement with the locking surfaces. The second cam surfaces are configured and arranged to act in response to flexure of the prongs towards the central axis to urge the panels apart and to thereby accommodate withdrawal of the prong from the passages.

Provided is a fastener, which has advantages over the prior art in that a retaining force is not dependent upon the biasing force of a spring, the fastener hardly comes out, and is less restricted in size than the prior art. The fastener has another important advantage over the prior art in that it forms no hole in plain cloth. A fitting portion (2) and a base portion (3) are assembled to have a clamping unit (1) opened. A stopper (4) is pushed together with the plain cloth into the inside of the clamping unit (1). This clamping unit (1) is closed to hold the plain cloth between the outer circumference of the stopper (4) and the leading ends of holding means (26 and 36). With slide portions (22) being fully fitted in groove portions (32), retaining pawls (23) are fitted in pawl receivers (33b).
