Connector
A connector is described having a female part defining a recess, a male part including a section receivable within the recess of the female part, and a lock pin insertable into an opening provided in the female part. The lock pin is engageable with the section of the male part when the male part is located within the recess to retain the male part within the recess. The female part is provided, around a periphery of the opening, with a stabilizing recess. The lock pin includes a feature receivable within the stabilizing recess, engageable with a base of the stabilizing recess to limit the distance by which the lock pin can be inserted into the opening.
FEMALE BUCKLING COMPONENT FOR MAGNETIC BUCKLING ASSEMBLY
A female buckling component for a magnetic buckling assembly. A female locking portion comprises at least one resilient arm and at least one engaging head integrally formed with the at least one resilient arm. The at least one resilient arm drives the at least one engaging head to move when the at least one resilient arm is resiliently deformed. The female buckling component also comprises an installation chamber inside a middle portion of the female buckling component, a female magnetic component installed in the installation chamber, and at least one operating component movably disposed on the female buckling component and coupled to the at least one resilient arm of the female locking portion to resiliently deform the at least one resilient arm and thereby move the at least one engaging head.
ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A removable module and a housing for an attachment system of a consumer product is described. The removable module includes a locking mechanism comprising a first portion having a substantially planar top surface and second portion that comprises a substantially non-planar bottom surface. The first portion and the second portion are coupled together. The locking mechanism also includes a first spring mechanism coupled between the first portion and the second portion. The first spring mechanism causes the first portion to be biased away from the second portion. The locking mechanism also includes a second spring mechanism. The second spring mechanism causes the substantially planar top surface of the first portion to be biased substantially flush with respect to the removable module and also causes the substantially non-planar bottom surface of the second portion to be biased proud with respect to the removable module.
Web-connecting assembly having a release button
A web-connecting assembly may include a connecting member and a securing member. The connecting member may include a connecting stud and a first web channel. The first web channel is configured to retain a first web. The securing member may include a housing defining a retaining chamber, a button pivotally secured to the housing, and a second web channel. The second web channel is configured to retain a second web. The button is configured to be moved between an open position in which a portion of the connecting stud is able to move into and out of the retaining chamber, and a closed position in which the button securely traps the portion of the connecting stud within the retaining chamber. The connecting member is securely connected to the securing member when the button securely traps the portion of the connecting stud within the retaining chamber.
STRETCH FASTENER
A fastener having two strap ends connected by an elastomeric member is described. The elastomeric member has sufficient elasticity to allow a user to increase the distance of separation between the two strap ends by applying a separation force, while providing enough tension to return the two strap ends to close proximity when the user releases the separation force. The elastomeric member may also have an adjustable elasticity to accommodate different applications with different load forces. The two strap ends may each be attached to two connectors.
Buckle-type closing device
A buckle-type closing device including a first component and a second component that are associable with one another in a releasable manner, the first component including a chamber in which a magnet is housed and a support element, and the second component including a ferromagnetic locking element that is adapted to interact, in operation, with the magnet, the locking element being movable between a first released position and a second locking position in which the locking element is attracted by the magnet against the support element.
Male member of snap fastener and snap fastener
This male member of a snap fastener is provided with a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion is composed of a plastic material, and the second portion is composed of a metal portion. In addition, the male member of the snap fastener has an engaging protrusion part working together with an eyelet of a female member, and a cover which at least partially covers the engaging protrusion part is provided to a side of the male member, the side facing the female member.
Buckle with whistle
An example buckle assembly includes a body and a latch. The body includes an integral whistle portion. The latch is configured to snapably mate with the body.
BUCKLE
A buckle has a main body, a strap retaining bar connected to the main body, two locking legs formed as separate pieces from the main body and pivotably connected to the main body; and a spring formed of two L-shaped sections disposed between the two locking legs. The spring is attached to both of the locking legs, and exerts a force against the locking legs when they are pressed inward toward each other. The spring keeps the locking legs in an outwardly tensioned position, but does not let the legs flex outwardly in an unlimited manner, since the spring is directly connected to the legs. The spring allows the main body and locking legs to be formed of an inflexible material, such as metal. The locking legs are separate pieces from the main body and are connected to the main body via a pivot pin or other hinged mechanism.
Ring and wing buckle
Ring and Wing Buckle is a new kind of fastener, which may be used to connect lose ends of belts, cords, wires, ropes, chains and the like in luggage, garment, fashion, jewelry, footwear, sports gear, construction, sailing, Recreation and similar fields of endeavor. It can be made in any size and of variety of materials like plastics, metals or wood, using flat, cut out slices layered together or as a solid body, using 3D printing, injection molding or casting. Flat and symmetrical body, allows multiple buckles to be layered together to form buckle hubs for harnesses.
