Attachment system with quick release
11044970 · 2021-06-29 · ·

A system for attachment to webbing has an attachment portion and an operating portion that can be attached to and detached from each other. The attachment portion has a base body with a cavity, a transverse bar, and two locking hooks. The operating portion has two side legs, top sections connected to the side legs, a gap between the top sections and a locking hook on each of the top sections. The operating portion is connectable to the attachment portion by pressing the legs together and inserting the locking hooks of the operating portion into the base body, and then releasing the legs so that the locking hooks of the attachment portion and operating portion engage each other. The operating portion is detachable from the attachment portion by squeezing the legs together until the locking hooks on the operating portion clear the locking hooks on the attachment portion.

Fixing buckle and harness comprising one such buckle

The fixing buckle includes first and second securing parts provided with coupling elements one of which defines a hook. A closure system is configured to define a first position preventing extraction of the first coupling elements from the second coupling elements and a second position allowing insertion and extraction of the first coupling elements. The closure system includes first and second closure plates each having a first position obstructing the hook and a second position configured to remove the first coupling elements. The first position of the first closure plate is configured to prevent movement of the second closure plate from its first position to its second position. The second closure plate separates the first coupling elements and the first closure plate along an extraction channel defined by the hook.

Mechanical-magnetic locking device

A mechanical-magnetic locking device includes a first connecting component, a second connecting component and a magnet-armature structure. The first connecting component is provided with a locking element with a gap. The second connecting component is provided with a locking member matched with the locking element with the gap. A magnet is provided in one connecting component and an armature is provided in the other connecting component. The locking element with the gap is coupled with the magnet and the armature is coupled with the locking member. When opening the locking device, the magnet and the armature are relatively moved to each other, and the magnetic attracting area is substantially unchanged or increased, allowing the locking element with the gap and the locking member to move from the engaged position to the non-engaged position.

A buckle includes two coupling modules coupled separably to each other. Each of the coupling modules includes a main unit including a hook member and a coupling member that has a retaining portion, and an operating member having an operating portion and a pushing portion. The hook member of each of the coupling modules is engaged with the retaining portion of the other one of the coupling modules. The operating portions of the operating members of the coupling modules are movable toward each other, during which the pushing portion of each of the coupling modules pushes the hook member of the other one of the coupling modules to disengage said hook member from the retaining portion of the coupling module.

Tourniquet Buckle Assembly

The present invention relates generally to first aid articles and more specifically tourniquets suitable for one handed application. One embodiment of the invention is directed to a tourniquet having a base defining first and second ends. A constricting band is attached to and extends from the first end of the base. A windlass handle is engaged with the constricting band. The constricting band is threaded through a self cinching stepped buckle. A buckle connector includes a hook member that engages the stepped buckle and is partly held in place through urging against a loop of the constriction band.
